My Thoughts:

One of my pet peeves during the Spring and warmer weather months is mosquitos, gnats, and flies! It's so tough to find products on the market that not only draw them in but also help with getting rid of them. Flypapers are such a pain to deal with and zappers can be dangerous if you aren't careful. When I got the Katchy Duo, I was so excited to try it out! I finished up my cooking one night and noticed a couple flies around the kitchen. I immediately loaded the trap with the glue board. I then filled the scented bait pod. After plugging it in I noticed the fan was relatively silent and had a couple settings for power, as did the UV light. Even the gentlest setting proved to be effective! The fruit flies were gone within the hour. I was so impressed! 

Not only did I love that the trap was nice and quiet, but it was also a great size that didn't get in the way. I found the design to be sleek and nice, and it made a great night light as well. It was easy to set up and helped keep my kitchen clean. I'm looking forward to bringing it with me for camping trips and bonfires in the Spring and Summer months. I can see this being a new essential in my life! I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to keep their home and outdoors bug-free!

Despite the fact that we are constantly washing clothes in our washing machines, they too get dirty after a while. There have been times where I've wanted to put a load of clothing in the washer only to be shocked at the smell coming out of the machine! Tide Washing Machine Cleaner is the perfect solution. Upon unboxing the Steammachine Model 53, I could not get over how lightweight it was. Able to hold up to 40 ounces of water while having a run time of 35-40 minutes, I could not wait to hook it up and use it for the first time. My home surface purifier from RAYCOP is one of the most unique products I have ever used. The concept is amazing for families and those that are looking for more ease when it comes to using their cleaning products. I was able to try the RAYCOP RS2 for this review. I have to say that both my mom and I had a blast cleaning and were blown away by the results.

Our Thoughts
I keep a variety of vinegars in my house, and specifically two kinds of apple cider vinegar - the good kind, and the cheap kind.

The good kind is for eating and natural skin care.  The cheap kind is for cleaning and fruit fly traps. 

I keep the fruit fly traps out all summer long - been doing it for years and let me tell you, it works! The only thing I add to Suzy's recipe is a wee bit of maple syrup - seems to attract the fruit flies faster.  The flies tire of the trap after 2-3 days, so you need to refresh it often to keep ahead of them.  (Find All-Natural Fruit Fly Trap on pg 160 of The Apple Cider Vinegar Companion.)

Almost every single recipe in The Apple Cider Vinegar Companion's section on Household Uses is used in our home - from cleaners to deodorizers, ACV is a must-have.

Not everyone wants to smell what you've cooked for breakfast all day long. My children have also not been sick since we got this item and I like to attribute it to the use of oils and the Airfree air purifier.

Even living in the country, there are pollutants everywhere because our earth is very sick. Also with living in the country, we get a lot of pollen and irritants that make us sneeze every day. Since using the Airfree air purifier, we've barely sneezed, even my toddler who we've always laughed at because he will sneeze over and over again and we thought it was cute, but not anymore, even he doesn't sneeze like he used too!

So when we received this, we took it out of the box, it's bigger than I thought and black, very black. It looks like Darth Vader's helmet in my opinion and really stands out. The white purifier definitely blends into the background much more, so unless you're wanting to make this item a focal point in your house, get the white one!

When I turned it on my husband thought it was broken because it didn't make any noise, just a little light came on, but I explained that it's silent so you don't have a constant annoying noise in the background as you want this running 24/7, and because of that, it's low energy consumption (52 w). You may think that it would get hot with it running constantly and heating up to 400 degrees on the inside, but it's very well insulated and is only warm to the touch so you don't have to worry about it burning little hands that may reach up to touch it.

The square footage for this purifier is 650 sq ft, and we live in a tiny cabin so this pretty much cleans the air in our whole house!

The night light feature is nice, especially if you're walking to the kitchen at night it helps you see along your way.

This is a great items to have in your house, whether in the country or city, there are always pollutants and irritants that we need help cleaning and the Airfree Air Purifier does all the work!
