Review: INVIA Life
INVIA gives you the power to free your mind and body, to do more. The simple-but-brilliant combination of ingredients in INVIA will break through “noise” barriers that block your focus, so that you can enjoy clear, higher-level thinking when you need it most.
INVIA promotes the brain’s frontal cortex – the region behind the forehead where the most complex mental activities take place. Using simple but sophisticated, scientifically-backed ingredients, INVIA taps the brain’s alertness network so you can dominate your daily challenges with maximum brain power.
Our Thoughts:
I've tried a lot of things over the years to increase memory, overall function, and alertness, and trying INVIA was no different. I love the ease of just opening a packet and pouring it into a water bottle. No fuss and no mess makes me a happy mom! The outside packaging is decorative but not too busy, however I do feel the directions for use could be a bit more clear.
Of several supplements, the taste is always the kicker, right? I mean, a lot of times you really want something to taste good and yet, you're disappointed right from the start. Not so with INVIA! I received the mixed berry and absolutely love it! I am incredibly happy with the taste and the fact it's not gritty and dissolves nicely in the water. I also find myself wishing there were more at the bottom of my empty water bottle.
One box of INVIA contains 15 packets. They encourage you to drink at least one per day, not exceeding four packets. I myself, prefer the one a day method, only because they last longer. They provide a money back guarantee, if you aren't satisfied with the product.
I do find myself better able to focus on tasks throughout the day, and have been sleeping sounder at night. With any supplement you should use the product for at least ninety days to get a good gauge as to how well it's actually working. I had my fifteen day supply and was able to notice slight improvements and would definitely consider purchasing more to continue.
If you'd like to give your own brain a boost, you can purchase INVIA direct from their website as well as learn more about what makes the product great, and you can find them on Facebook as well.

Our Thoughts
I like to try out new and different teas; drinking tea is one of my favorite ways to unwind. Organic India offers many different tulsi teas & blends - I tried Tulsi Gotu Kola, Tulsi Jasmine, and Original Tulsi Teas.
Original Tulsi Tea
Three sacred varieties of Tulsi with potent restorative powers are blended to create this delicious, calming, yet energizing tea with hints of lemon and citrus from Vana Tulsi, the slightly spicy tones of Krishna Tulsi, and the calm depth of Rama Tulsi.
Tulsi Gotu Kola Tea
Two of India's most celebrated herbs, Tulsi and Gotu Kola, lovingly embrace in this healthful and purifying infusion. This blend nourishes and balances your nervous system, offers clarity and calm to your mind and enhances your overall physical and emotional well-being.
Gotu Kola, the brain food of herbs, has long been prized by students and yogis for its memory-enhancing properties. Native to Sri Lanka and South Africa, gotu kola extract and herb has been used for centuries to relieve mental fatigue, and as a tonic for overall brain and nervous system support. Rich in vitamins A, B, E, K and magnesium, researchers have found that it also contains several glycosides that exhibit healing properties.
Tulsi Jasmine Tea
A floral blend of Tulsi, chamomile, and jasmine, accented with sweet notes of anise. Perfect for romantic moments or reflective stillness that fills your senses with peace and harmony.
Each tea I tried has a nice, rounded, full-bodied flavor, although I did add a bit of raw honey to each cup. I like a stronger flavored tea with a little sweetness, so Organic India teas worked great for me - I have come across some brands of tea that are so mild you almost need two tea bags per cup of water just to get some flavor! Out of the three, the Jasmine is my favorite - the scent alone is a lovely way to start the relaxation process. I think the Gotu Kola is my second favorite. I served the Tulsi teas to my guests, too, and it was very well received!
The Organic India website is filled with information, links, resources, and videos on a variety of health-related topics; one can easily spend a lot of time learning! Plus, they carry a wide variety of teas, supplements, foods, and gifts - definitely worth checking out!

Review: Noble Vines
Over centuries, vintners have carefully singled out the most admired vines, naming each vine with a unique number to identify its exceptional attributes. Here in California, we've planted a selection of these vines exactly where they will flourish best: in select locations on the red soils and cobblestones of our family-owned vineyard in Lodi and on the gentle slopes of our cool-climate estate in Monterey. Our wines honor these treasured vines and the blocks in which they are grown, chosen because their refined, classic qualities have stood the test of time.
Noble Vines offers a portfolio of six wine varietals that make for delicious wine pairings: 337 Cabernet Sauvignon, 181 Merlot, 446 Chardonnay, 667 Pinot Noir, 1 Red Blend, and 242 Sauvignon Blanc.Thinking about what to serve for Easter brunch and dinner? Noble Vines' chef has created three brunch recipes & wine pairings:
EDAMAME HUMMUS CROSTINI WITH GREEK YOGURT, PRESERVED LEMON & MINTPair with refreshing and fresh {Noble Vines} 242 Sauvignon Blanc
Makes 24 pieces
Crostini:
3 ea pita bread, each cut into 8 triangles
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp salt
pinch ground pepper
- Preheat oven to 375f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl toss pita triangles with oil, salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer on baking sheet and cook until brown and crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
- Place Hummus ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and puree until very smooth. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, as needed to reach the desired consistency.
- Remove the center and pith of the preserved lemon and discard. Finely mince the skin. Combine with yogurt and mint.
- Spread hummus on each of the pita chips and spoon a bit of yogurt on top. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
- In a large sauté pan cook bacon until crisp. Add potatoes and cook until crisp and well browned. Transfer to a platter and keep warm in the oven.
- In the same pan, heat the oil and add the garlic and onion. Sauté 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the morels and discard the liquid.
- Add morels, fennel, pepper and asparagus to the onion mixture and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes more.
- Combine vegetable mixture with potato mixture, toss with parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Using room temperature butter, coat the inside of 8 six-ounce ramekins.
- In a small saucepan melt butter, whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add milk, whisking constantly, and simmer until thick, about 2 minutes more. Remove from heat, stir in mustard, cheese and yolks. Season to taste with salt and pepper and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Cool to room temperature.
- Whisk whites to soft peaks. Gently fold whites, one-third at a time, into cheese sauce, gently folding together until combined.
- Pour mixture into prepared molds, arrange refrigerate for up to 4 hours before baking.
- Preheat oven to 375f. Bring a kettle of water to a boil.
- Place soufflés into 2 9x13-roasting pans and place in the oven. Pour the boiling water into the pan so that it comes half way up the ramekins. Bake until puffed and golden, about 20-25 minutes. Do not open the oven door during cooking.
- Remove from water bath and serve immediately.
181 is classic Bordeaux-style Merlot, elegantly opening with aromas of cherry, blackberry and sweet herbs. Fresh fruit flavors of black cherry and ripe plum fuse seamlessly with hints of spice leading to a lingering and luxurious finish. With balanced tannins and acidity, this medium-bodied wine is a perfect companion to oven-roasted turkey, Italian sausage, braised short ribs and mild to medium hard cheeses like Port Salut, Edam and Gouda.
242 Sauvignon Blanc exhibits vibrant aromas of white peach, green melon and lemongrass. Medium bodied with a round mid palate and bright acidity, this refreshing wine offers flavors of guava, passion fruit and a hint of lemon zest.
