My Thoughts
There is one thing that will almost always win me over when it comes to buying beauty products. I like knowing what goes in to them. I want to be able read the ingredients without a dictionary. All-natural is always best and that is no different when it comes to skincare. Truly's Natural Products offer this and so much more. Their luscious skincare comes in varieties I love and each one is made with all-natural ingredients. Each package you purchase means you're the best thing for yourself and the environment.
I was thrilled to be able to try out Truly's delightful all-natural soaps. They offer a wide range of scents and each one comes beautifully packaged. The generous bars are long lasting and made with only the best ingredients including natural essential oils. I tried out lavender. Lavender is one of my favorite essential oils because of its healing and relaxing qualities, so I love finding new products that utilize it. The scent is powerful and invigorating. They lather nicely and leave your skin feeling clean and soft. These soaps are a wonderful way to pamper yourself or someone you love.
Truly's also has a fun selection of all natural lip balms that everyone is sure to love. Their yummy lip balms come in several delicious varieties including vanilla, lemonade, and pear to name only a few.. I received the vanilla lip balm to try out and it was lip smacking good. They go on smooth, prevent chapping, and leave your lips soft and kissable .Applying this lip balm will shield your lips from the elements, and still give you a glossy shine. This balm glides on evenly, leaving your lips soft and moist, but never sticky. Most importantly, its chemical free, cruelty free, and a completely all natural alternative.
If you'd like to learn more about Truly's Natural Products and all their fabulous products, be sure to visit their website. A few of these delightful beauty products would be the perfect way to show someone how much you care this Easter.

Organic Beauty Products from Lady Soma
I am very particular about the products I use for my beauty regimen. I like to find things that are made with natural ingredients and are chemical free. Whether I'm washing my hair or looking to prevent wrinkles, I know there are products out there that meet these requirements. Recently I discovered a company called Lady Soma and they had everything I was looking for and more. Their beauty products are organic, holistic, and of course cruelty free.
Paradise Lime Clarifying Shampoo - Normally after a day at the beach, it takes two or three showers before my hair gets back to normal. My hair would still feel gritty from the sand and course and dry from the salt. With this shampoo, that's not a issue. The citrus extracts naturally remove the sea salt build up in hair, leaving it looking shiny and healthy after just one shower. It smells really nice too! It works just as well at restoring life to over-styled hair. My teen is always straightening her curls and her ends were in bad shape, but this shampoo gave her hair new life.

Holiday Gift Guide: Makeup Academy
Moisture Balm ($6) – This moisturizing tinted lip balm hydrates your lips all day long with a sheer, lightweight look and feel and subtle flavor. Available in 6 shades, try Cherry for a more sophisticated take on a classic flavor with the added bonus of a red-pink color payoff!
Color Infused Balm ($9) – This 2-in-1 lipstick + balm formula gives lips luxurious moisture and sheer color, gliding on to deliver stay-true color and a wet-look glossy finish. Available in 4 shades, go bright with Fuschia or muted with Nude.
Intense Color Moisture Balm ($7) – Packed with Vitamins A & E, this semi-sheer balm available in 4 shades has a non-sticky formula with a perfect punch of color and a little shimmer.
Our Thoughts:
I don't wear a lot of colored lipstick or gloss, mainly because it's too gummy or dries my lips out terribly. Makeup Academy has impressed me greatly with the fact that each of the different types of balms, glosses, and lip sticks are none of the things I've experienced before. Many name brands still produce colors that make me feel like I have ten pounds of make up on my lips.
They have so many lovely colors to choose from. You can go bright or go natural, and they all look fantastic. I'm loving my Makeup Academy products and I know you will too! Why not purchase some for the holiday season? Spice up your lips for that holiday party, or grab some for stocking stuffers for your favorite lady! I will definitely remember to use this brand again next time I'm out looking for lip color!
You can find Makeup Academy exclusively at CVS.

Review: Noya Lip Balms
- Classic: An all-natural balm without scent or flavor. Featuring just four natural ingredients, this just might be the purest balm on the market. If nature herself were to make a lip balm, this would be it. Perfect for sensitive skin, this Classic balm delivers the moisture you crave without any of the fuss.
- Vanilla: Get a sweet treat with every swipe. This vanilla-flavored lip balm smoothes and softens lips while satisfying your sweet tooth—it’s all the perks of dessert with none of the calories.
- Cherry: Enjoy a tangy burst of cherry with this lightweight, all-natural formula that moisturizes lips while delivering juicy flavor. And since it’s natural, you can feel free to lick your lips as much as you want.
- Spearmint: This zesty balm is bursting with fresh minty goodness. Soften lips naturally and freshen your mouth all at once with invigorating mint-leaf.
Our Story
Why do so many balms contain so many ingredients, and ones we can’t pronounce? Navigating the colorful, mad world of lip balms can seem like a daunting task. Wandering from aisle to aisle of our favorite drugstore, winding our way around cosmetic counters and health food stores, we found ourselves drowning in a sea of plastic tubes with no life preserver in sight to grab onto.
And although there are lots of great balms out there, we found it difficult to find a perfect match for our picky pouts – something fun yet functional, with simple, natural ingredients that we can understand and that actually hydrated lips without leaving them overly greasy or slick.
All hope seemed lost for a time until we thought, if it doesn’t exist why not create it? And so noya was born when we decided to create a lip balm that had everything our lips could ever crave – a kosher, all-natural formula that’s good inside and out, hydrates and conditions lips, and comes in four fun flavors that might fill you with the curious urge to take a bite out of your lip balm.
And if you find yourself unable to resist, no worries – this simple balm is made of just four to six kosher, natural ingredients.
So go ahead and indulge – it’s only natural!

Our Thoughts
I have a noya classic lip balm here at my desk; I love lip balms and have tried many natural brands. I refuse to use a lip balm that isn't 100% natural! noya's classic all-natural balm is made with only coconut oil, beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, and organic stevia extract. They use no preservatives, and do not test on animals. The lip balms are even kosher! It goes on smooth with a nice light sweetness, and the moisturizing effect lasts for hours!
Now, noya's not your average company. They are committed to helping people by partnering with the National Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) Council!
Buy a balm, give a balmApproximately 650,000 people in the U.S. are homeless on any given night. Of these, most do not have access to very basic healthcare necessities, such as toilet paper and hand soap. Things we take for granted on a daily basis go a very long way for someone without a roof over their head, and no bed to sleep in at night.
noya is partnered with The National Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) Council to distribute free lip balm to homeless and low income people. For every lip balm you purchase and send a photo of, noya will donate one to the National HCH Council, while supplies lasts.
There are 3 ways you can donate:
1. Like noya on facebook and post a pic of your new lip treat
2. Follow noya on twitter and post a pic with #livedivinely
3. Email a pic to give@noyabeauty.com
Limit one submission per person, while supplies last. The owner of the most creative submission will be given a year long supply of noya’s lip balm for them and two friends!
Please note that by submitting your photo for this contest, you are giving noya the right to upload and share your image on their twitter, instagram, website, facebook, youtube, pintrest and all other avenues associated with the noya brand. Submissions through email are excluded from this, they recognize and respect your request for privacy!
________
Now, go out and get some noya lip balms for yourself and some for stocking stuffers! :)

Review: eos Medicated Tangerine Lip Balm
*Product was exchanged for a honest review*
As flu season begins, nothing is more important than keeping you and your family healthy – which is easy with the eos Tangerine Medicated Smooth Sphere Lip Balm. This lip balm provides medicated relief and helps prevent contamination on your lips. The adorable lip balm is packed with antioxidants, zinc, vitamins C & E, shea butter and jojoba oil. This lip balm is perfect for pampering your lips while protecting them from germs and bacteria.
Price: $3.29
Available: EvolutionOfSmooth.com, Target, Rite Aid, Drugstore.com
Our Thoughts
I always have a hard time with lip balms during the cold and flu season, especially since we live in Wisconsin where it gets tundra-like and the winds alone can be enough to make you wish you didn't have to go outside. I also have a difficult time getting my kiddos to understand that they just can't keep squeezing the tube or screwing up the bottom of the lip balm. It just doesn't work no matter how hard I try and how many times I preach.
The eos Medicated Tangerine lip balm is fantastic! It doesn't feel like it's medicated at all and I love that there's no squeezing or turning a knob at the bottom of the lip balm container! The screw cap on the sphere is genius as it won't fall off when I throw it in the diaper bag or my monk bag that doubles as my purse.
The other thing that's great about all of the items I listed above is that the eos Medicated Tangerine Sphere is GREAT to send with the kids to school! There's very little ways that they can make a total mess of the lip balm. They can't even forget the balm in their pockets only for them to make their way through the laundry. For me though, the lip balm is great in that it helps reduce the chapping, soothes my lips, and makes them kissably soft! My husband even likes the sphere!
I highly recommend the Medicated Tangerine Anti-Bacterial Lip Balm Smooth Sphere for you, your kids and your significant other.
