One of the "hottest" new trends- Sauna Warming Facial Masks.

7th Heaven has just created two new self-warming sauna facial masks, offered in generous single-serve sachets, that heat upon application.  This includes the following masks bursting with natural ingredients for the perfect skin treat.  MSRP $1.99 at Ulta Beauty, Bed Bath & Beyond, Harmond and more:

1. Red Hot Earth Sauna Masque - An anti-stress, deep pore cleansing formula for all skin types.  Cleanses to the core with rich volcanic clay and plant extracts.  The warming from application helps open pores to coax out impurities.

2. Hot Spring Sauna Masque - Exfoliates and nourishes for deep pore cleansing.  Contains volcanic spring powder and chopped ginger.  Also features bamboo for polishing and leaves skin glowing.

My Thoughts:

As a working college student, I love finding new ways to relax during the week that are quick and easy, but still just as soothing. These luscious creations by 7th Heaven are ideal for people on the go like me. I tried both of their new self-warming sauna selections, and I was highly impressed with my results!

The first one I tried was the, Red Hot Earth Sauna Masque. There is plenty of it to give you a thick, soft lather. The product is not as red as it appears on the packaging. It's more of a bright pink color. Although they advertise that it is made with red clay, at first I felt it was a thinner texture than what I would think a clay mask would feel like. However, once I let it sit and tried to remove it, I realized how thick it actually was! It covered my face very well.

The masque is warm upon contact with your face. It slowly starts to cool off as it sits. The scent is not over bearing at all, which is perfect for me considering my allergies make me sensitive to heavy smells. The masque is made with squeezed lime, pressed jasmine, juiced grapefruit, as well as red clay. It is very refreshing! The masque is a non-drying formula, and to be left on for 15 minutes. It helps remove excess oil without drying the skin, while helping the user de-stress. Once I washed it off, my skin felt smoother, shinier, cleaner, and not oily at all! I loved it! The masque advertises that it works best when used once a week to maintain your glowing appearance! I will certainly be using it again.

The last masque I tried was the, Hot Spring Sauna Masque. I adored the smell of this one! The masque is made with volcanic spring minerals, chopped ginger, and pulped pumpkin. It's an exfoliating mask, so it also has bits of bamboo to remove dead skin cells, while opening up and cleaning pores. I felt there was not as much product in this one as the last, but this masque was also a lot thicker and grittier since it exfoliates. Still, there was plenty to apply to get full coverage. As you rub the masque on, the bamboo automatically begins exfoliating the skin. It is nice to not have to sit and rub excessively. For those that do have sensitive skin, I would advise to be careful not to rub too hard. There is plenty of bamboo in the masque to do the work for you. Once you wash it off, you get a good exfoliation as well. Like the Red Hot Masque, this is a nondrying formula that you wash off in 15 minutes.

Upon putting the masque on, it heats up very quickly. I actually felt this one stayed warmer longer than the other, and warmed up again as I took it off. My skin felt incredibly smooth once I washed the masque away, and I could see some of my dead skin already coming off before rinsing. This will defiantly be my go to masque during the winter season when my skin gets very dry and flakes.

I would highly recommend both of these luxurious and affordable masques from, 7th Heaven! You will not be disappointed with your results. I also have to highlight that I love that 7th Heaven is a company that creates all of their masques themselves by harvesting and pressing the ingredients, while also being approved by PETA, being cruelty free, and vegetarian standard approved. Plus, who wouldn't want to bring the comfort of a relaxing spa day to your home? These are two products you will love treating yourself to!

My Thoughts

Facial masks are an old favorite for a little self-care. I got the opportunity to try these out, and I was overall pleased with how they worked out. Unlike a lot of the new masks I see coming out, this is a gel that you spread over your face instead of something resembling a Halloween mask.

I'll warn upfront that, while it seems there is a lot in the pouch and you might (as I was) be temped to save some, don't. If you don't use the whole pouch, you end up with a mask that is almost impossible to peel off. Yes, I know this because I felt like it was too much at once.

The mask itself felt nice when first applied. It's cool and soothing, which I think is a nice addition to a nighttime ritual or meditation time when you need to wind down. It (when you apply enough) peels off pretty easily, and left a nice glow to my skin after. Of course, the longer it's on, the tighter it starts to feel.

An advantage of the gel masks over others is, it stays in place so you're able to do whatever you might need to do around the house while it dries. The other masks I mentioned tend to slip as you move.

My Thoughts
The only part of my body I wax is my eyebrows, so this is the product that I tried out from Nad's. It had been a few months since my last wax, so I had some hair that needed to be removed. I read the instruction first and they seemed simple. I cleaned the area with the cleansing wipes in the box then put the wax on the way the hair grows. I moved the pen from the inside out when applying the gel. The gel is very sticky and thick. I then put the cotton strip across the wax area and ran my index finger across it several times.

It was time for the unfun part. I yanked the cotton strip off, going the opposite way of the hair growth. It did a good job. It didn't remove as much hair as I expected it would, so I applied a little more wax and did the same thing again. I then proceeded to do my next eyebrow, following the same directions. And again, I had to do it in the same spot twice. When I finished, I cleaned the spot with the cleaning wipes again to get rid of all the wax.

For the most part I thought it did a good job. It will take some practice and would probably try again. The cotton strips that came in the package said they were washable and could be used again. I personally just tossed them out because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting the wax off.

If you're looking for a way to take care of facial hair at home, this product from Nad's is an option.

My Thoughts

I got the chance to try sooth and exfoliate facial wipes from beauty 360.

The first one I tried out was exfoliate. This is very rough, so don't scrub your face too hard. One side has very rough bumps to remove dead skin as you wash your face. After using this cloth, I applied a moisturizer and my face seemed more bright from rinsing away the dead skin. I wouldn't recommend using this cloth daily, by maybe weekly as part of your routine.

The next evening I used sooth to rinse away the day and make-up. This was cool across my skin and had a very light fragrance to it. The cloth was thick and I found it easy to run it along my face as I pulled off my make-up. It glided across my eyes without issue, and pulled off the eyeliner and mascara without issue.

I really like these because I've never been one to take the time to wash my face the way I should, but since I've discovered these beauty 360 wipes, I find it's easy to take one, wipe down my face and go to bed without a face still full of make-up. Most nights I did apply my moisturizer, but if I did skip that, my skin didn't feel dried out. That was a really big plus for me.

Overall, I really liked these. I love all the different options in the beauty 360 wipes, so you're sure to find one that is right for you. Both of these did have a very light fragrance to them, but it wasn't bothersome to my face at all and didn't linger when I was done using it. I'd recommend these to anyone who needs to carry around face wipes or is like me and not very good at their skin care routine.

Holiday Gift Gudie - Mad Hippie Antioxidant Facial Oil

I love moisturizers, but I love them even better when there are more natural or organic alternatives, and this one sounded like a great option. The Mad Hippie Antioxidant Facial Oil has a number of great ingredients that are meant to help your skin get the moisture it needs. This particular product contains argan oil, strawberry extract, broccoli extract and more.

I tried this oil on my fave, hands, and feet. While I wasn't blown away with the way my face and hands responded to it, I have to say that I absolutely love what it did for my feet. They tend to get really dry and cracked, which is so uncomfortable. This happens even when I am scrubbing them in the shower. After one use of this, I noticed a big difference. My feet look a lot smoother and feel so much better. I would definitely use this product again.

As for the other areas I used it on, the difference was not as big, but I will say that I like the way it feels. It's an oil-based product, but it didn't feel as oily to me as some lotions out there. It also only required me to use a small amount of the liquid to get some results, which I like. Overall, I would say to give this one a chance.

My thoughts:

I have used many skin care products over the years.  I have been using Ioma number three, generous eye contour cream for a couple days now.  I have seen a dramatic change in appearance where I normally have dark circle under my eyes.  They have become less visible since I have been using this product.  I have had family members even take notice and asked if I have been using anything different under my eyes.  This product has also improved the puffiness that I also have along with the dark circles.

I have used Ioma number two, Smoothing moisturizing mask a couple of times.  Since it has to stay on my face for ten to fifteen minutes, I put it on and sit and read a book or listen to music and let this product do it's magic on my face.  I love how after I rinse the mask off  with water, my skin feels tighter, smoother and looks brighter.  Since I am in my mid forties another plus is that this product helps to protect against the signs of aging.  I will be using Ioma moisturizing mask one to two times per week, as directed.

I have also been using Ioma number two, Anti-line, anti-wrinkle Elixir.  I put this product right over my make up(lightly tapping it right into my wrinkles and expression lines). which is how this gel is designed to use in order to boost its effects. This product did erase some fine lines I have. I really like that this if fragrance free formula.

Our Thoughts

Sibu Beauty, what a lovely smelling product, at least their sea buckthorn seed oil! My first thought when I opened this bottle was that it smelt like chocolate-covered walnuts. Personally, I enjoy the smell quite a bit.
Now it may be a psychological thing, but seeing the bright colors on the box and the scent of this oil really wakes me up in the morning. I feel transported on a tropical island (who doesn't crave being on a tropical island?).

As for it working on the skin, it works quite well. Winter plays tricks on my T-Zone especially and this oil has really reduced the dryness of my skin. It has also helped with breakouts on my jawline, which I'll forever be grateful for. It is an oil, but it's not super oily like others so it doesn't leave that residue behind on your face or fingers, it blends in quite well. I like to use about 4 drops on my face at a time.

You cannot go wrong with this product, or any natural product for that matter. There is just something special knowing you're putting something nature-derived on or in your body for your health!
