My Thoughts:

I've been a fan of Dove products for many years. I was raised using their soap that was always extremely moisturizing for my sensitive skin. As I got older, I fell in love with their body washes. When I heard Dove was coming out with the UltraCare collection, it was so exciting. Dove was kind enough to share this line with me and I can't want wait to share it with you. Thank you, Dove!

Having fine, thin hair, I could not wait to try the foam line. Never hearing of foam conditioners before, this was such a unique product line that quickly became my favorite. After dispensing it in the shower, it smelled amazing. Not too strong, but just enough to add a classy fragrance. What I noticed about the foam conditions is that they deposit very nicely and saturate the hair follicles without feeling heavy.

My first foam attempt was with the Weightless Volume conditioner. After blow drying my hair, I was shocked at the volume I had. Not only did it liven my hair, it did indeed feel weightless. The best part? The volume stayed all day! Unlike other styling products that eventually fade, my hair remained looking vibrant and full of life. The second Foam conditioner was the Weightless Moisture. I loved this one! It made my scalp feel hydrated and left a soft, shiny sheen to my hair. This one also felt just as weightless as the other and had a similar unique scent.

The second conditioners I tried were the Balanced Repair Milk Gel and the Balanced Moisture Milk Gel. This was an interesting texture and great smell. I wouldn't say it's a gel as much as a thick serum almost. Still, it went on extremely well and felt very silky on my scalp. After showering I noticed that it did indeed make my hair look more radiant. The difference between the Balanced Repair and the Balanced Moisture was that one left my scalp feeling more hydrated and shiny, while the Repair added more texture and natural bounce. My mom tried both lines as well and said it was like it put life back into her damaged hair.

Lastly, I had the unique Concentrated Repair Creme and Concentrated Moisture Creme conditioners. These are great for hair that are thick in texture and very dry or damaged. Since my hair is fine, I took only a little bit of the thick creamy conditioner. I was quick to see that a little does go a long way. As for fragrance, these were the strongest smelling and it was delightful. Not only did the creme make my hair feel extremely soft and lightweight, the smell stayed with me.

If you are looking for a new line of conditioners to upgrade to or try, I highly recommend Dove's UltraCare line. These are all incredible and give higher end brands a run for their money. I will certainly be continuing to use these in my beauty routine.

My Thoughts:

I recently fell in love with coloring my hair at home. It feels like the ultimate self care day. However, with the amount of harsh chemicals within the market dyes, I knew I needed to find one that was safe. That's when I discovered, Iroiro Colors! The shades on their website were vibrant, bright, and of course contained a natural formula! The first ingrediant that stood out to me was the coconut oil. I currently use it in my beauty regime so seeing that was very exciting!

When the samples arrived I could not wait to give them a try. As advised, I began with the strand test. The colors I tried were Iro Red, Iro Dark Red, and Iro Pink. My natural hair color is a sandy blonde so I decided to try the shades on that rather that lighten them. The first thing I noticed was the hair dyed smelled amazing! No harsh smells whatsoever, just a sweet scent of the Yuzu Cranberry. Each dye was quite thick. It made it easy to spread across the strands. You can see the results of the strand test here:

Although I enjoyed all the colors, I adored the Iro Red the most. It came across the best for my natural color. Spreading the Iro Red was simple with how thick the formula was. It went perfectly from root to tip with no dripping! During the process of the coloring I allowed the product to sit in my hair for a little over an hour due to having sandy colored hair. It did not bother my scalp whatsoever. It felt like a hydrating mask.

Iro Red washed out nicely and did not dye my tub or my bathroom. The first wash was simple and effective! My hair felt incredibly soft and smooth. The color was bright, vibrant and truly beautiful! The color has stayed put well over the course of the last few weeks. As of now the roots are beginning to show a bit and the red has begun to fade into a lovely pink, but it is still just as gorgeous.

I was amazed by the results I received using Iroiro Colors! I have been getting lots of compliments by family, friends, clients, even strangers about the new look! Knowing that I can finally have red hair again without fears of damage is wonderful! I used to have to go to the salon constantly years ago just to maintain it, but not anymore! My Thoughts:

Having thin hair, I often am faced with many issues when it comes to styling. Everything from humidity to the cold weather can leave my tresses looking dry and brittle. I try to stay away from too many styling products, especially in the summer, but sometimes when a night out comes up, you have to pull out the flat iron, hair dryer, and tough styling products to keep your style in place. When the mask arrived I was very pleased with the overall smell! I would say the scent of carrot stood out the most, with a hint of earthy green tea. The product was a nice consistency that made it easy to spread through the strands of my hair and to the roots. Like advised, I left the mask on for about 15 minutes while I finished up my shower. Depending on your needs, this treatment can be left on for an hour if you prefer under a cap without heat needing to be added. 

Due to having thin hair, the 15 mark was perfect for me. My hair felt amazing afterwards! It was soft, smooth, shiny, and manageable. After a couple weeks of use, I did see some volume being added! I truly love this product and intend on continuing my use of it!

My Thoughts: 

The new Camille Rose Natural's collection is a wonderful addition to anyone's hair regime. If you are looking for all natural products, look no further than here. Coconut anything is all the rage right now, and after using these products, I can tell why. My hair has been shiny, hydrated, and oh so soft! Plus, I LOVE the smell of coconut. 

When I started testing the products, I began with the Sweet Ginger cleansing rinse. I noticed a little goes a long way. The product is thick and once distributed, forms into a gentle lather. Unlike most shampoos, Camille Rose's cleansing rinse did not make my hair feel dry after I rinsed it out. My hair felt very soft. I then finished my shower with the Coconut Water penetrating hair treatment. The smell was wonderful. I let the deep conditioner sit for a few minutes and once I rinsed it out, my hair already felt luscious. After it was dry, my hair had wonderful volume and shine that stayed all day.

Camille Rose Naturals also offers styling products like their Coconut Water leave in detangling hair treatment and "style setter". I loved using both of these. My hair is prone to tangling and I loved the help these products gave me. On top of that, it helped hold any style and also the natural waves my hair has. 

I would like to also add that these products came right around the time I got my hair dyed with pink, purple, and blue layers. My color has stayed in for a long time and fading has been slow. I give a ton of credit to using these products! My Thoughts

I got the opportunity to try the Down to Party duo which included the Super Skinny Serum and Hot off the Press spray. I loved the Super Skinny Serum. I like to let my hair air dry most of the time, so adding this to my damp hair helped it dry with less frizz. It didn't add any oil to my hair or weigh it down. Instead, it made my hair more manageable with a bit of shine. It also had a light fragrance to it of green apple. I usually wash my hair every other day. The next day my hair didn't seem dirty of oily from having this product in it. Instead, it helped keep my hair frizz free and smooth.

I also got to try the It's My Party Express Style Wand. I think this has become my favorite tool to style my hair. It's a heated round brush and what I love about it, is I can let my hair air dry and later heat this up and just run it through my hair to give it a little style. I can do more with this then just curl the ends under. I could put in chunky waves also. My hair is short, just above my shoulders and I had no problem getting it to style. My daughter has longer hair, and this worked great for her in the mornings to get rid of bed head before school. 

It heats up very quick and you can change the temperature too, based on the type of hair you have. Just note, not to leave in the same spot of your hair for a long period because it can burn the hair. If I didn't feel like having much style but needed more volume. You can rest this under your roots and hold no more than 9 seconds then brush through. Since it is a brush on the end, you'll want clean your hair out after use to avoid the smell of burning hair as it sits on the barrel.

The cord is very long, so you aren't stuck right at the counter. You can move around which is great if you're doing someone else's hair with this. It heats up in roughly a minute and it cooled down quickly as well. The cord is also thick so it won't get damaged easily. Here are my before curling photos and after.

After I styled my hair, I finished it off with the Hot Off The Press spray. This helped keep my style all day and didn't leave it sticky or stiff. I was able to run my hands through it after it dried and my style stayed without a problem. Using the hair wand and Hot Off The Press spray, even after sleeping, my style stuck and the next morning I didn't have much to do to get my style back. This one also had a light fragrance to it.

I loved all three of these products from Paul Mitchell.

My Thoughts

I got the chance to try out the Fairy Tales products to help repel lice and that product has become a staple in my home. Not due to us having lice, but staying on top of preventing it. My daughter has long hair and I want to make sure those pesky bugs stay away. With summer coming up, I was excited to give these products from their Sun and Swim line a try.

These smell really good, and I know that these are also going to be a staple in my house come summer. We have a neighborhood pool that we spend a lot of time at. The one thing I hate is after a few weeks, their hair feels weird, even with washing. It's chlorine build up. Well, these products help get that build up out of hair. The sun spray can be spritzed in hair several times while at the pool to help keep the build up from happening. While the shampoo and conditioner will clean out the chemicals from the pool and help with the salt build up when in the ocean.

In order to test these, I tried the shampoo and conditioner on myself. Clarifying shampoo is also good to have on hand and use occasionally for shampoo build up. After using it, my hair was lighter and a bit more shiny. It did a really good job cleaning and conditioning my hair. Not to mention, made it smell really good.

These are products you'll want to have on hand this summer. Best of all, they are good, clean products.

My Thoughts

I was sent a bottle of the scalp serum and a bottle of thickening and plumping spray for my hair to help my hair have a fuller appearance. I've been using these two products together for a few weeks. I have noticed a bit of difference when combing my hair when wet.That's usually the time I see the most hair loss, and it sometimes makes me nervous the amount of hair I can comb out. I apply the serum along the scalp when my hair is still wet. I don't notice it weighing my hair down or giving it a greasy look.

I've also used the spray a few times and it does really bounce my hair up. Giving my hair a fuller look. Something I have missed. I had some health issues a few years back that caused a lot of hair loss. Since, I've never had the full head of hair look. This product has given me that look and I enjoy seeing the extra fullness and bounce.

I was a little nervous when starting this product, how it would effect me. So far it's been positive and I'm pleased I gave it a try. If you're hair is thinning, give this stuff a shot.

My Thoughts

I've used this creme a few times now and so far I've really liked it. Until it fully soaks into my hair, it leaves a sort of sticky feeling and I wasn't sure I would like this product. But once dry, I saw more volume and my hair was smooth and soft. I've only used this on wet hair and before I blow dry.

The creme is thick, but glides through hair strands easily There is a very slight fragernace, but nothing that is noticable or bothersome to people. If you've got flat hair that needs a little volume, this is a great creme to try.

My Thoughts

This is some pretty impressive hair spray. I've always used the spray kind og hair spray, so wasn't sure what to expect with this one. After I curled my hair, I lifted my hair and sprayed toward the roots to add some volume, then the curls as well. This hair spray felt like it instantly froze my hair, in a good way. I waited a moment for it to dry, then tugged at my curls to give them more of a wave look. I was happy with the outcome. It seemed to still hold the curl and the volume I added at my roots stuck around as well.

I think this is a hairspray I will check out again in the future and recommend to fellow friends who have dull, limp hair as myself. Now I am curious to try their shampoos.
