#ad Three Fun Ways to Make Collecting Box Tops Fun #BTFE

  Sponsored by General Mills

Whether your kids are already back in school or will be starting next week like mine, now is the time to start gathering your Box Tops. This time of year, Walmart Bonus Box Tops are available on select General Mills® products, so it's a great time to get your kids involved. I live in a little tourist town with few year round residents.  Our little schools need all the help they can get, so my kids and I always purchase Box Top Brands first.

In addition to buying the products, we try to encourage others to take part as well. Here are three fun ways that we discovered to keep the Box Tops rolling in.

1) Decorate a box with a little slot in it, and make a mini poster letting people know you're gathering box tops for your school. Leave it at the customer service center at local stores that carry Box Top products. You'll be amazed how many you can collect this way.  Just be sure to ask a manager for permission first.

2) If your a teacher or class room mom, make it a game for the kids. Make a chart with all their names on it, and mark off every time they bring in a Box Top. When they reach a certain level, reward them with small prizes likes stickers or temporary tattoos.

3) Get your friends and family involved.  We have a ton of friends and neighbors who don't have kids of their own. My children offer to do little chores for them, like raking leaves or washing their car, in exchange for their Box Tops. Most people are very receptive, and it's a great way to teach kids responsibility as well as earning more money for your school.

These are only a few ways to earn Box Tops for your school. Think outside the box and try to come up with some unique ideas of your own. Since this program began in 1996, over $525 Million has been earned, so it's obvious that Box Tops are making a big difference for schools across the country. Make sure that this year, you and your family do your part.  If you want to learn about all the participating General Mill products and other ways to help earn money for your school, be sure to head to your local Walmart and check out all the great savings on your favorite Box Top brands today.

 Sponsored by General Mills

Soon it will be time to head back to school -- are you ready? Sounds like a little shopping is in order to gear up for the new school year.  Since you have to go shopping anyway, why not earn cash for your school at the same time?

Box Tops for Education have helped nearly 80,000 schools across the country earn millions since the program started in 1996. Box Tops gives schools funds they can use for whatever they need most including  textbooks, laptops, musical instruments, playground equipment, field trips, and basic classroom supplies. In fact, Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs.

I have always been a huge supporter of Box Tops for Education. My children actually fight over who's going to take each batch in to their teachers. Saving tons of Box Tops has never been an issue for me. Some of my favorites include General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker, and Fiber One. With a family of six, we go through tons of these products. Of course, the best place to stock up on our favorites is Walmart. With their rollback prices, you get the best deals.

Collecting Box Tops is easy. Simply cut the squares from participating brands and start adding up the savings. Each box top is worth $.10, and believe me, it adds up quickly. This past year, my daughter's school raised over $500 just by cutting out box tops. This time of year, you can rather even more savings. Many General Mills products are offering bonus Boxtops throughout the back to school season.

Since this program began in 1996, over $525 Million has been earned, so it's obvious it's making a big difference. My Thoughts

I have always been a huge supporter of Box Tops for Education. My two older children actually fight over who's going to take each batch in to their teachers. Saving tons of Box Tops has never been an issue for me. Tons of my favorite brands offer them including General Mills cereals, Huggies diapers, Green Giant, Go-Gurt and so many more! With a family of six, we go through lots of these products. This year, my daughter's school raised over $500 just by cutting out box tops, but now, with the Box Tops' Marketplace, it just got easier to raise even more money for our schools.

I was given a $100 Visa gift card to help facilitate my review of the new Marketplace, and I was really excited by what this offers.  Simply log onto the Box Tops Marketplace and register.  This is a simple process that takes less than five minutes. Once you're a member, not only can you track your school's progress,  you can also add to it by shopping at your favorite stores online. Simply look for the items you need or the store you want to shop with in their search engine. There are dozens of options including Walmart, Target, Staples, Old Navy, Best Buy, Gap, Macys and many more. Once you know where you're shopping simply click through the Box Tops Marketplace to that store, and resume shopping as normal. A percentage of your  purchase price will automatically go to the school of your choice!

When I did my shopping, I decided to go with Walmart. The $100 gift was enough to get three things that were on my wish list already--a Evenflo Booster Seat, a Dora Desk for my toddler, and a extra pair of Dora pajamas. The order was just over $100 and this even enabled me to get free shipping.  I had the convenience of having the items shipped right to my door, but best of all, this earned my daughter's school an extra $0.87 in Box Tops. It would take months to generate that number from the little cut outs, but now I get a lot more money for my school just by ordering things I would have bought anyway.

This is much an amazing idea! I am excited to watch the money for my school continue to grow and I will definitely be spreading the word about this awesome new program both online and locally. I plan to use the Box Tops Marketplace for all my online  shopping from now on. I can bulk order diapers for my little ones,do all our back-to-school shopping in the fall, even book a vacation with Expedia, and have a percentage go directly to my children's education.  Doing this takes no more than a few extra clicks of the mouse. There is no reason not to give it a try! So go sign up today! The money will add up quickly and you can help your school get new sports uniforms, new books, a playground, or whatever else they need to achieve their goals.

Since this program began in 1996, over $525 Million has been earned, so its obvious its making a big difference. If you wan to learn about all the participating brands and other ways to help earn money for your school, be sure to visit the Box Tops for Education website.
