My Thoughts

800 Words is a cute comedy about a widower who decides to move his family to a little coastal town. But his new beginning doesn't go quite as smoothly as he planned. The quirky locals can't keep to themselves and George and his kids find themselves the center of attention, This season has eight delightful episodes:

1- The town wonders who George took home after the wedding. Arlo doesn't understand why Lindsay is angry with him.

2- George and Katie are concerned about how their relationship will effect Fiona. Tom gets his police physical assessment and  Shay and Siouxsie join the fire-brigade.

3 - George and Katie plan a vacation, but end up disappointed. George kinds himself in competition with Katie's ex.

4 - Arlo is seeing Poppy but hasn't ended his relationship with Lindsay yet. Big Mac is working on a tourism video.

5 - Big Mac reveals why he's making the video which gets the town upset with their neighbors. George and Woody are at odds.

6 - George's in-laws want him to take a stand against the driver who killed Laura which causes friction in his relationship.

7- Shay is avoiding all the Turners. Poppy deals with bullying and the election is causing friction in the town.

8 - George and Fiona confront Big Mac. Shay goes back to school and Poppy's mom gets involved.
This was another great installment of this drama series. This series will make you laugh at times and get emotional at times. The relationship between George and his kids has it's challenges, but it's also touching. Living in a small coastal town myself, I could definitely relate to the quirky locals.
