Weight Watches Frozen Treats Review

Summer might be over, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to give up my ice cream. Ice Cream is one of my favorite snacks all year long.  But I just had a baby, and I need to lose about fifteen pounds. My goal is to do this before next summer, so I can fit into my pants, and into my bikini when its time to hit the beach. I don't have the time or the discipline for a full fledged diet. I always have and probably always will eat what I want when I want. I have never tried diet foods before in my life, and I almost didn't sign up to participate in the Weight Watchers review. But I am sooo glad I did. The ice cream options from Weight Watchers are delicious! They don't taste anything like diet food, they satisfy the craving for something cool and sweet, and they are perfectly proportioned to help you lose weight. Even though I am not following the "points" with the Weight Watcher program, they are still great snacks to help me cut back on calories. Here are a few of the tasty flavors that Weight Watchers offers that my family got to sample:

Weight Watchers Snack Size Ice Cream Sandwiches
Low-fat vanilla bean ice cream or low-fat chocolate ice cream nestled between chocolate cookie wafers. An adult version of your childhood favorite guaranteed to bring out the kid in you. Each sandwich contains 80 calories, 1 gram of fat and 2 grams of protein. Offered in a package

New Weight Watchers Dark Chocolate Dulcé de Leché Dessert Bars
Chocolate-y, caramel-y goodness that's rich and completely indulgent. The low-fat, creamy dulce de leche ice cream is swirled with caramel and dipped in rich, dark chocolate coating. What could be more delightful? You can't go wrong at only 120 calories, 4.5 grams of fat and 0 grams trans fat. Offered in a package of 6.

New Weight Watchers Strawberry Fruit Bar:
You don't have to find a berry patch to pick your own fruit. Just reach for these low-fat strawberry fruit bars packed with real strawberries. There's a refreshing taste of summer in every bite. Only 70 calories, 0 grams of fat and each bar provides an excellent source of antioxidant Vitamin C. Offered in a package of 6.

Weight Watchers Strawberry Smoothie Bar
All the creamy goodness of a strawberry smoothie, conveniently on a stick. Each bar is a luscious blend of low-fat strawberry frozen yogurt and real strawberries, and contains a mere 60 calories, 1 gram of fat and 0 trans fat. Also, a good source of Vitamin C. Offered in a package of 12.

I really can't rave about these ice creams enough. I never thought I would enjoy them as much as I did, but I am totally hooked. Even if you aren't looking to lose any weight, the varieties I tried are better than many of the other name brand ice creams I have purchased in the past.  The Strawberry Fruit bars are like fresh fruit on a stick. The ice cream sandwiches are creamy goodness between two pieces of chocolate heaven.  The Dessert Bars are a decadent treat. And the creamy strawberry smoothies were my favorite. They are like a tropical drink on a stick. I will definitely be getting these products again, and encourage anyone who is counting calories to give them a try.

You can check out all the varieties of ice cream and learn more about the program on WeightWatchers.com. You can also find their products in stores nationwide including Walmart. To keep up with new products and promotions, be sure to follow them on twitter or become their fan on face book. If you are looking for a taste sensation to satisfy your sweet tooth, check out the Weight Watches ice creams today.

Glorious gardens and classic whodunits combine in this hit British series seen on public television. Filmed on location in English and European countryside settings, the collection includes all 3 series— now with subtitles

Series One (Discs 1-3)
Laura Thyme, a former policewoman and garden-loving housewife, has just lost her husband to a much younger woman when she meets Rosemary Boxer, a plant biologist who has just lost her university teaching post. A suspicious death brings them together, and they combine their gardening skills and natural curiosity to dig deeper. Despite the success of their first “case,” Laura and Rosemary hope their blossoming friendship will lead to gardening commissions, not detective work. But mysteries have a habit of following them around in this appealing series that combines two British specialties: gardening and mystery.

Intent only on solving puzzles of nature, they stumble upon mysterious crimes when they unearth tensions, secrets, and the occasional dead body. The second installment of this hit mystery series begins with a double episode followed by seven regular episodes. Restoring a walled garden and surviving the cutthroat world of a TV garden makeover show are among the challenges they face.

Gabby's First Dance

Last night, my oldest daughter, Gabby, went to her first school dance. She is 11 and in 5th grade. I can't believe how grown up she looks. Its makes me feel old to have a real tween. And I definitely got a little teary eyed when I dropped her off at the rec center with her friends, especially when she refused to kiss me goodbye for the first time ever.  I guess I have to get used to the fact that she is growing up. At least I still have two little ones that aren't embarrassed by me yet:)

My Wins This Week

1) Creativity for Kids Fashion Headbands

2) Milan Maternity Nursing Shirt
3) Swiffer and coupons (Freebie)

4) The Rite Blu Ray

Time Island In-Home Party

About Time Island
Time Island is a place of wonder and adventure. Your survival skills will be put to the test as you explore white beaches and lush jungles; tree-top terraces and dark underground caverns.
You will have to outsmart, out maneuver and outlast the troublesome green creatures that inhabit the island, known as the Goggs.

Meanwhile, it’s a good idea to stick together so you and your friends can create and join a tribe. Survival is always easier when you’re not alone. To survive you must also care for your cleanliness and hygiene, and keep your avatar well fed.

Most importantly, keep your eyes open and your wits about you. Around any bush and behind any rock, even in the giant trees and hidden in the darkest corners of the caves, you will discover countless games and activities.

To survive on Time Island is a challenge, but the fun is even greater!

 OUR PARTY

A few days ago, my family were lucky enough to host an exciting in home party. We have done lots of parties in the last few years, but this one was a little different. Instead of toys or food, my family and friends were testing out a new online game site called Time Island. Anyone who is a fan of adventure games is going to love this exciting and FREE online world.

We had to break out all three of our computers to accommodate the ten kids who came to our house for the party. The first thing we did was hand out a few party favors, including Time Island bracelets, stickers and tattoos. Next we had to set up a few play stations since there weren't enough computers for everyone to play at once. So in the kitchen we set out some fun themed snacks like Dirt Cups (chocolate pudding with gummy worms) and Time Island Trail Mix (Cheerios, goldfish, M& Ms etc) and a party game station where we arranged some interesting games Monkey Say, Monkey Do (along the lines of Simon Says) and Jungle Animal Freeze (Kids have to freeze in the pose on an animal you call out when the music stops).

When it was time to play on the computer, everyone went through the simple registration process. They were able to create an avatar. They could choose between a boy and a girl and even pick out some clothes and accessories. Parents need to confirm the account before the kids can start playing to keep it safe and secure.  Once you are logged in there is an whole exciting new world to explore. The kids loved exploring the beaches and caves. Along the way you can discover fun crafts like how to create a foot print mold. It reminds me of the "Survivor" tv show because of the fun challenges and the fact that you have to keep up with you own cleanliness and hygiene. You can even join tribes to interact with friends who have accounts online. The game is designed for kids ages 6 through 10. Most of the kids at the party were in that age range and they had a great time playing.

If you want to check out Time Island, its completely free for kids to play. It provides a safe, secure, and entertaining online environment for children to interact with each other on the web. My kids are hooked and I know they will be playing often. If your kids are looking for something new to try, have them check out Time Island today.
