Time Island In-Home Party
About Time Island
Time Island is a place of wonder and adventure. Your survival skills will be put to the test as you explore white beaches and lush jungles; tree-top terraces and dark underground caverns.
You will have to outsmart, out maneuver and outlast the troublesome green creatures that inhabit the island, known as the Goggs.
Meanwhile, it’s a good idea to stick together so you and your friends can create and join a tribe. Survival is always easier when you’re not alone. To survive you must also care for your cleanliness and hygiene, and keep your avatar well fed.
Most importantly, keep your eyes open and your wits about you. Around any bush and behind any rock, even in the giant trees and hidden in the darkest corners of the caves, you will discover countless games and activities.
To survive on Time Island is a challenge, but the fun is even greater!
OUR PARTY
A few days ago, my family were lucky enough to host an exciting in home party. We have done lots of parties in the last few years, but this one was a little different. Instead of toys or food, my family and friends were testing out a new online game site called Time Island. Anyone who is a fan of adventure games is going to love this exciting and FREE online world.
We had to break out all three of our computers to accommodate the ten kids who came to our house for the party. The first thing we did was hand out a few party favors, including Time Island bracelets, stickers and tattoos. Next we had to set up a few play stations since there weren't enough computers for everyone to play at once. So in the kitchen we set out some fun themed snacks like Dirt Cups (chocolate pudding with gummy worms) and Time Island Trail Mix (Cheerios, goldfish, M& Ms etc) and a party game station where we arranged some interesting games Monkey Say, Monkey Do (along the lines of Simon Says) and Jungle Animal Freeze (Kids have to freeze in the pose on an animal you call out when the music stops).
When it was time to play on the computer, everyone went through the simple registration process. They were able to create an avatar. They could choose between a boy and a girl and even pick out some clothes and accessories. Parents need to confirm the account before the kids can start playing to keep it safe and secure. Once you are logged in there is an whole exciting new world to explore. The kids loved exploring the beaches and caves. Along the way you can discover fun crafts like how to create a foot print mold. It reminds me of the "Survivor" tv show because of the fun challenges and the fact that you have to keep up with you own cleanliness and hygiene. You can even join tribes to interact with friends who have accounts online. The game is designed for kids ages 6 through 10. Most of the kids at the party were in that age range and they had a great time playing.
If you want to check out Time Island, its completely free for kids to play. It provides a safe, secure, and entertaining online environment for children to interact with each other on the web. My kids are hooked and I know they will be playing often. If your kids are looking for something new to try, have them check out Time Island today.
