Product Review: The Jojoba Company's 100% Natural Jojoba Oil

Check out the 100% Natural Australian Jojoba from The Jojoba Company Australia. This lovely golden serum is made exclusively with 100% natural Australian jojoba grown, nurtured and harvested on the company’s own farm.  Jojoba is a naturally hydrating antioxidant rich in vitamins A, D & E that will deeply moisturize, visibly balance and soothe skin.

My Thoughts

If you're concerned about the safety and quality of the products you use, there are a lot of options out there for more natural, clean skincare products without harsh chemicals, dyes, and other such ingredients.

The only ingredient, in fact in this product is pure jojoba oil, which is similar to our skin's sobum. The oil is rich in several vitamins and contains antioxidents, which help protect the skin against free radicals.
At first, it seems a bit greasy to me, but that goes away quickly. I'm assuming because of makeup of the oil, as it's supposed to penetrate deep into the skin. Afterwards, the area I use it on (I've been focusing on hands) feels smooth, and I like how it makes the skin look after. Another thing I like is that the oil is a very versitle product, as they say it can be used as a moisturizer for the skin and lips, and it can also function as a makeup remover.

One other thing I like is that a little bit of this goes a long way. A small drop on my hands is more than enough to cover them, while also working the oil into my cuticles. If you're looking to try something new to moisturize and nourish your skin, I'd recommend giving this a try.

xSense Oils Review

xSense recently debuted a new line of functional scents inspired by Nobel Prize-winning clinical research on how the brain reacts to scents. Each scent is specifically formulated with ingredients found to help people make the most out of their day-to-day activities.

Users simply apply one of xSense’s three scents, PlaySenseWorkSense, or RestSense, directly under the nose and allow the scent to help them exercise more efficiently, work better, and rest easier throughout the hectic holiday season and into the new year. Plus, the oil-based, alcohol-free scent is only detectable to the user, remaining unnoticeable to others.

xSense products can be purchased directly from xSenseWorld.com in the following sizes:

  • Deluxe sample pack of 3 multi-use vials of PlaySense, WorkSense, and RestSense: $14
  • 10 milliliter (0.3-oz) roller-applicator bottle of PlaySense: $45
  • 3-pack of 10 milliliter bottles each of PlaySense, WorkSense, and RestSense: $95

Our Thoughts

Oils are all the rage lately so I was happy to test these out. There has been a lot of research and it's well known that the scent of an oil greatly impacts our mood. It's not easy to always have your favorite flowers sitting next to you, and sometimes impossible depending on the plant, but with oils they're readily available for you to use their scent whenever you need it.

The sample pack came with the three oils, PlaySense, WorkSense, and RestSense in the easy-to-use little perfume bottles as shown below. The caps come off easily enough and snap back on. They don't leak at all, even if they're stored on their side or upside down so you can easily pop them in your purse and take them with you. The package is also nice to keep as you can store your oils in the little cubby sections that they snap into.

Each oil did smell really nice. The only issue I had was that the scent didn't last long. It said to use quite a bit of oil in order to really smell it and have it last, but I just don't want to use that much oil and then have the bottle be gone in two uses so I've been spacing it out. The scent lasts for about one minute and is then gone. It does give you a good respite while you're using it, and again, it's very easy to take on the go with you!

Give Mom a Gift for Mind, Body & Spirit with Sapphire Soul - #FREE Gift with Subscription

If you're mom is a New Age Mama like me, than a subscription to Sapphire Soul could be the perfect gift for her this Mother's Day.  There are so many subscription boxes out there, but I've never seen one quite like Sapphire Soul.  It's designed to help bring balance to your life. Each month, there is a new theme and products that will help guide you along your spiritual path, and teach you to work with the power of intention.

The April  theme was all about rest and relaxation, which is a great way for a mom to pamper herself. Everything inside was geared toward taking a breath and looking within. Here's a little information on each of the items I received.

Lavender-Tulsi Caffeine Herbal Tea - Sit back and sip this organic tea and you'll be transported to a world of relaxation.

Fashion Tats - Elephants are all the rage this year, but I have loved Ganesha for way before the trend. This cool temporary tat is right up my alley.

Sage Stick - You can never have too many of these! Just light it up and inhale the aromatic fragrance. You can use this to cleanse your aura and your sacred space.

Harmony Reiki Candle  - This lovely candle has a tea-light aroma that helps promote harmony. It comes complete with instructions on how to charge it and a Herbal Magic Candle Affirmation.

Pendulum - Ask your questions and let spirit guide you to the answers with this beautiful rose quartz pendulum on a silver chain.

Moonstruck Nail Polish- What better way to celebrate the moon cycle than with this fun and funky nail polish. Its all the encouragement you need to treat yourself to a manicure.

Amethyst Crystal Cluster -  Not only is this a beautiful gemstone, it also helps boost self-esteem.The  healing stone is connected to the crown chakra.

This amazing collection of spiritual accessories is probably worth twice the price of the box, and its a great way to give yourself the me-time you need to recharge.

At Sapphire Soul, there are a variety of different boxes to choose from.  The box I received is the Medium Balance Box. There is also a large Lotus Balance Box that includes a piece of crystal healing jewelry every month. These two boxes are $33 and $52 respectively, and include a wide range of products. For those on a tighter budget, there are a few smaller packages available. For $9 you can get the crystals only box, for $16 you can try a variety of essential oils every month, and for $19 there's a Fun Size Soul Package. There is definitely something to suite every budget. It's the perfect way to try new things and maybe even bring a little magic into your life. You can also order individual items. Here are a few of my favorites.

In addition to operating Sapphire Soul, Allison, the owner of this shop also runs a spiritual workshop on Desire Map Facilitating (leading workshops both in-person and virtually). Desire Mapping is an amazing process and huge, important work for women especially in the present time. Be sure to check this out at Soulistic Life.

Review: Infinity Jars

**Product was received in exchange for an honest review**

Infinity Jars can actually slow down the decaying process of organic matter while maintaining the freshness of whatever you put inside. What sets Infinity Jars apart from all other jars is that it blocks out all harmful visible light rays while selectively ALLOWING infrared and UV-A rays. These rays are necessary to protect organic matter from the aging process, which explains why the tomato and chives  (look below for detail of comparison test) were still as fresh as the day they were put in the container in the lab tests. Furthermore, the screw top seal is completely airtight, and the thick glass is smell proof.
Whatever you put inside is totally protected.

Our Thoughts

Making bath salts, herbal mixes, and essential oil combinations I am always looking for something to make my life easier and keep it all as fresh as it was the day I made it. I've tried plastic jars, plastic ZipLock bags, and even tupperware containers! Nothing keeps my concoctions as fresh as I'd like. I got frustrated enough that I decided it was time to just make my items as I received orders so they were as fresh as could be.

These jars are just what I have been looking for! They are airtight, you can't smell the oils through the jar, and since they are airtight they keep everything just as fresh as it was the day I made it! The small jar is great for mixing up oils, the larger jar is great for my herbal mixes, and the tall bottle is fantastic for keeping some bath salts in on the back of the vanity! As I make more mixes I will probably be ordering more jars!

(L to R): Small jar, tall bottle, and large jar
