The One: An Amazing Love Story Starts with You
We never anticipated becoming one of “those couples.” When we met, we just worked on listening to God and preparing ourselves for the story he planned for us. What we learned and want to share is that no matter what your relationship status may be, this amazing story begins with you.
In this book we share more than the events happening around “The Surprise Wedding.” We share our triumphs and our mistakes, both before and after that day. You’ll learn healthy habits you can start practicing today, ones that will help you lay the groundwork for an incredible marriage later. God has something amazing in mind for you, but he can’t get you there without your help.
We absolutely believe in The One. And we believe that you’re it.

SECRETS OF A 21st CENTURY ALCHEMIST
If it feels as if something is missing from your life, though you may not know what, discover secrets that can help you fill that emptiness. Self-inquiry is necessary in order to awaken to our inherent divine nature. Because that can be a challenging task for many of us, SECRETS OF A 21st CENTURY ALCHEMIST offers readers not only questions to consider on this journey, but also answers to ponder and ideas to contemplate. This potent and inspirational memoir presents convincing insights and lessons for seekers of all faith traditions, or none. It guarantees you'll make some fascinating discoveries about your own life and the role you've come to play at this exciting time in the life of our planet.
My thoughts:
A good book. Susan Truett Trammell has some good solid information. She offers a lot of tools in helping you understand how to change things in your life.
There are twelve chapters (Secrets as they are called in this book). This book isn't very long, but a good easy read. I have found through some of this a connection on how things are in my own life, and how I can change things. I do think I will probably skim through this book from time to time.
The Art of Having It All – A Woman’s Guide to Unlimited Abundance
My thoughts:
What a great, powerful book! I read this book from front to back within two days. And I plan on re-reading it again.
While reading this book, it was as if Christy Whitman was talking directly to me. She writes in a simple, easy to follow manner. Each and every chapter is very powerful. And at the end of every chapter there is a play sheet, which made me think deep as I was completing the play sheet.
Each chapter in this book is just as good as the one before. I loved reading Christy Whitman's personal stories. I could actually relate to a couple of them. As I reached the end of this book, I know I can have it all. I can have a better, loving, happy, peaceful life. I will also be able to rid and let go of things to hold me back such as my negative doubts. I will be using a lot of what i read and learned from Christy's book to incorporate a better life for me.
I highly recommend this book to the young and old, women as well as men.

Book Review : Dear Mom, from you to me (Journal of a Lifetime)
JOURNAL OF A LIFETIME: DEAR MOM - Have you ever wondered what your Mother was like as child? These are questions that lead to precious answers. We all have our own story to tell. Each from you to me keepsake contains around 60 fun and inspiring questions carefully designed to inspire your family to enjoy telling their story – to help you to find out amazing things about them.
My thoughts:
This is such a great book to gift a Mother or even Grandmother. This is more than just a book for your mother/grandmother to write memories of her childhood and special memories of you through the years, it is a treasure to keep forever. Here are some of the captions for your mother/grandmother to write about: Tell me about your mom and dad, What did you want to do when you grew up and what was the first word or words you remember me saying?
My daughter saw this book and asked me to write in it so she can keep all of my memories always. So I will do this for her, but I am also going to do another for my son.
This is the perfect Mother's day gift!

Book Review : I'm a Different Type of Apple
Kevin grew up to be an incredible young man. And he did not end up like his father. This is a short, easy read book, so i will not give much more of the story away. But I will say this is a book I will read again and again. It is an inspiring book. One that you will say to yourself, anything is possible.
I am so happy that I had the chance to read this great memoir.

I really enjoyed reading Carol Whitaker's Personal Journey in the beginning of her book. It makes you feel like you are getting to know the person she is and how she got to be this person.
Carol Whitaker writes in such an easy to follow and understand format. Once you start reading, it is hard to put the book down. Every section has more and more information that is very helpful in helping you becoming a happier person. One of my favorite section in this book is "Enjoy Life". Something that we sometimes forget to do. I read the five keys to a happy life three times. A section I will go back to again and again.
As I read this book, I learned more about myself I didn't know and through Carol's sections in her book, I now am trying daily to live the happiest, positive life I can.

Book Review: Finding Vern
In Finding Vern a young widow gives her heart felt account of lessons on life, love and the evidence she uncovered when she sought answers on the afterlife. Her touching and remarkable miracle laden story will give rise to thought to any discerning but curious mind.
After receiving a convincing reading through an evidential spiritual medium, Darcy the author received many more miraculous signs that her beloved was by her side. She not only learned his soul survived but she discovered a world of untapped human potential. She came to the realization much of what we experience is limited by our self imposed expectations of reality. When your mind is opened to beyond what can be empirically imparted the possibilities are infinite.
Darcy's discoveries have inspired her to create a foundation that will provide an organized way to gather and explore those possibilities as well as aid the bereaved in healing the heart.
"Finding Vern will give skeptics cause to re-evaluate and believers a new slant on an area they thought they knew. Regardless which camp you currently reside in, this book is a must read for all." - Editor, Amanda Brown
"This has to be the most powerful book about life after death I have yet to read!" - Spiritual Author and Medium Jacqueline Murray
Darcy Bellows Mascorrro is a veteran Marketing Creative professional. After the tragic loss of her beloved husband to be Vern, Darcy embarked on a side career as paranormal investigator. Darcy worked under the tutelage of Psychic Medium Michelle Tedrow who was the lead psychic investigator for the Central California Paranormal Investigator group in early 2009.
Darcy and Michelle also launched a group they call the Lightworker's Foundation whose mission is to explore and share spiritual gifts and knowledge. There are currently three locations in California for the foundation, they are active groups that hold monthly psychic development/healing circles and host classes like Mediumship 101. Darcy is now teaching what she has learned about our innate psychic abilities.
Darcy is also most importantly the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and two cats. Darcy was born and raised in Minnesota. She currently resides in San Diego and has been a longtime California resident.

Book Review: Gates of Power: Actualize Your True Self
GATES OF POWER: Actualize Your True Self is an inspirational, informative, and practical guide for all who are passionate about living up to their potential and maximizing their life. The book is based on the Gates of Power® Method created by Nomi Bachar. In the book, Nomi offers wisdom gathered through her own spiritual and emotional journey, her life-long study of different spiritual traditions and her experience as a counselor and coach for the last 26 years.
The Gates of Power® Method is a path for self-healing and self-actualization. The path is practical, creative, and deeply spiritual. The method empowers and energizes all seven facets of our being: Body, Emotions, Dialogue, Creative Expression, Life Path, Silence, and Knowledge. At the same time it unifies the three aspects of the self (Emotional Self, Defensive Self, Expanded Self) creating inner strength. Gates of Power® Method is the ultimate guide for creating a vibrant, powerful and whole Self. The method is practiced through a comprehensive curriculum that includes seven levels of training.
My thoughts:
This book is an easy to read and understand. It took me deep into my own self discovery and how to work on me. There is so much Nomi Bachar touches on that I never really thought about myself. It is like having my own spiritual guide, but only in a book.
Nomi Bachar takes you on a personal journey as she guides you through the seven gates of power.
Which are:
1. The gate of the body.
2. The gate of emotions.
3. The gate of dialogue.
4. The gate of creative expression.
5. The gate of life path.
6. The gate of silence.
7. The gate of knowledge.
These gates are filled with so much knowledge and information to any reader to find your self discovery as well.
Nomi also has suggestions/exercises in this book of learning from your body. This book is loaded with valuable information to learn how to take control/self discovering of ones being.
I would recommend this book to be in anyone's home library.
