Winter Wellness Essentials- MindTravel Sleep Meditations.
My Thoughts:
Insomnia is something I've struggled with throughout my life. From working long, late-night hours to doing all-nighters studying for college exams, my sleep has been up and down, to say the least. Stress and anxiety played a huge role in my lack of sleep. Wintertime seems to be the worst time for my sleep schedule since the lack of sunlight takes a toll on my overall wellness. Several years ago I started studying more about sleep and the benefits of meditation, music, and binaural beats. Meditation has been a life-changer for me. Seeing a program like MindTravel Sleep embracing comforting music and meditation to increase healthy sleep seemed like the perfect match for me!
MindTravel Sleep is easy to access and so simple to use. The site provides a user-friendly download. You get your meditations instantly after the transaction. You can download the full album on your computer or mobile device. There are 15 mp3s in total. They include meditations for tension and release, floating visualizations, deep healing, and harmony to name a few!
The meditations are so relaxing. I felt completely comfortable listening to the music and the calm direction during the guided meditations. It was easy to relax into a deep and comforting sleep after each one. I especially loved the binaural beats. Each meditation was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a new way to relax. Don't let the winter blues keep you down. This is the ideal program to raise your spirits!

Cool Off This Summer with The Aroma Box
It's July, which means summer heat has reached a crescendo. Just walking from the house to the car, you can get covered in sweat. Taking a dip in the pool or heading to the beach isn't always a possibility. Luckily, Herb Stop is here to help you cool off on those hot summer days. This month's Aroma Box is filled with essential oils designed to cool you down and keep your mood as high as the temperature. Here is a look at everything inside the July box.
Key Lime - I had no idea that key lime was an essential oil! This oil has a sweet, tangy aroma that promotes a positive mood and aids digestion. You can also use it as an air freshener. The scent is refreshing and keeps you feeling cool on hot summer nights.
Peppermint- This is one of my favorites and one of the most commonly used oils. It has a fresh minty scent. Used in a bath, it will make your skin tingle. It's also great or relieving headaches and cold symptoms. It will also help to deter ants if they try to invade your home this summer.
Dalmatian Sage- I have used sage oil before, but never dalmatian sage. This particular plant is native to Greece, but still has many of the same properties as the white sage I use for smudging. You can use this oil for cleaning and purifying. It's helpful for hot flashes and eases the symptoms of asthma. It also can help to reduce yucky foot sweat!
Be Cool Roll-On Oil - This is one of my favorite roll-ons so far. It's made using all the oils mentioned plus a little lavender, all blended with jojoba oil. The aroma is invigorating, and I really did feel cooler after applying it. As a bonus, it reduces perspiration and can be used as a deodorant.
This was another amazing box that helps you cool off during the hottest days of the summer. Each one of the blends in this package was a unique oil and a great addition to my collection. I also love how Herb Stop includes so many great tips on how to use the oils. This month they had a great recipe for a cooling foot bath. Plus, the oils are always high quality, and never diluted. The Aroma Box is one of my favorite subscription boxes, and Herb Stop will definitely be my go-to company whenever any of my oils need to be replenished.

Joyful Transformation: 22 Keys to Reclaiming Your Authenticity
About the Book
Emptiness. Guilt. Shame. Disillusionment. These painful feelings have become all too common in our world--familiar companions--suffered by millions as they unwittingly accept the silent obligation to lead an unfulfilling life. Speaking about them has somehow become taboo, and changing them even more so.
Transformation has been relegated to the realm of religious fanaticism and new age fluff. So much so that the ordinary physical, mental and emotional transformations we all experience have somehow been separated from "greater than me" events and reduced in importance to the point that they become lost in the flurry of everyday living before we ever get the chance to incorporate them into our lives permanently.
This highly practical guide offers readers a candid examination of all aspects of transformation -- mundane and spiritual. In it, the authors offer a straightforward workbook for all forms of change -- conscious, measurable, lasting change that improves various aspects of life, reduces the burdens we carry (willingly or otherwise), and frees us to live the best life we can -- a life worth living.
The book is structured to focus on one transformation at a time. Each chapter limits itself in this way, allowing you to learn, practice and master key techniques to focus your thoughts and shift your actions toward a new design for living; drawing reality into alignment with your deepest desires and expanding your horizons in a limitless way.
Guest Post by Author Debra Meehl
Many of us spend our entire lives running from feeling, believing that we cannot bear the pain or shame or suffering we encounter. But the immortal diamond at your core is only refined through the heat and pressure of both pain and pleasure. Joyful Transformation is about practical skills (like distress tolerance and emotion regulation) you can use in everyday life to help you move through the pain; fully experience the pleasure; connect and unite with, heal and embrace your true self; and thereby create a life that is truly worth living.
There is always a way to step into divine flow based upon the emotion you are feeling at any given moment. But you must be able to tolerate and modulate that emotional response in order to fully stabilize your divine connection. This is where distress tolerance becomes invaluably essential.
Harmonizing your spiritual essence with your human being-ness is the truest form of authenticity, and is key to living in consistent alignment with your divinely inspired purpose. Once we raise our threshold to tolerate distress and learn the skills to quiet our minds, then we can truly connect to all that is and live – each and every moment – within the divine flow of life.
You will learn all of this and more in Joyful Transformation, as Debra Meehl guides through practical and easy-to-master skills that help you:
• Tolerate your humanness and that of others
• Contend with all of your very human emotions, attachments, desires, and imperfections
• Make the shift toward a lifestyle of divine joy, even in the midst of human suffering
• Fully embrace your divine purpose and honor your spiritual origins

June BuddhiBox Review, #Giveaway & #Discount
BuddhiBox is one of my favorite subscription boxes because it's filled with yoga-themed goodies that speak to my soul. This month brings us another amazing selection of products geared to the mind, body, and soul. Whether you're looking for yoga gear, homeopathic products, or all-natural snacks, or simply something to lift your spirits, this is the box where you can find all that and more.
Every month, the BuddhiBox includes inspirational quotes, as well as a healthy recipe and a yoga card with some tips and pose benefits. Of course, that's only the beginning of the surprises that await you. Here's a little break down of what I found in the June box.
The Suburban Monk - This adorable little statue looks a little like Buddha, but his name is actually Sid. This monk is giving you the thumbs up, so that every time you look at him, you feel a little encouragement.
Bear's Beauty Hemp-Sun Hat Mineral SPF Powder- I wasn't able to try out this item because it was damaged in shipping. When this happens to paid subscribers, the team at BuddhiBox will always work out a resolution.
Purely Inspired Plant Based Protein & Recipe Books - These protein shakes are delicious on their own or added to your favorite smoothie. It also includes a little recipe book with 12 amazing recipes that taste great and optimize your energy levels.
All Natural Yoga Mat Spray- Our mats can always use a little refreshing up after an incense routine. This cleaner is antibacterial, has a light fresh scent, and doubles as a face and body mist.
GypsySoul Organics Elements Aromatherapy Spray - This is another fantastic two-in-one product. You can spritz a little on your skin or in the air to freshen up the room. The scent is specially designed to be uplifting and increase positive feelings.
Gaiam Foot Massager - If your feet are sore and tired after a long day, this little ball will soothe all the aches away. Just roll it under your feet. Though called a foot massager, it actually works on most body parts.
This is just a sampling of the items you would get in your BuddhiBox. Every month is different and they always throw in little extras. It's a great way to try new products sure to appeal to yoga practitioners and spiritualists alike. In addition to their boxes, BuddhiBox also allows you to order individual items in their store, including a huge selection of jewelry, yoga clothing, and accessories. Here are a few of my favorite items.

For thousands of years, monks rose before dawn to meditate and greet the morning with an open heart. But you don't need to beat the sun to start the day mindfully. With A Mindful Morning, you can channel this ancient tradition as part of your daily morning routine.
With 200 inspiring quotes and short, easy mindfulness exercises, you'll learn how to begin your day with a clear head and positive energy. These simple moments of awareness, healing postures, and meditations can help soothe your soul as you take on every day with tranquility, confidence, and composure.
My Thoughts
I've been working a lot this year on raising my vibration, and creating a more positive mindset, so this book seemed like a perfect thing to read. The author takes readers through a variety of exercises designed to help people achieve mindfulness and a more positive outlook.
