My Thoughts
Ms. Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries is a spin-off of the original Miss Fisher. After Phryne's vanishes, her niece picks up the mantle and starts solving the mysteries of Melbourne. Peregine will become a 60s detective and true fashionista as she follows in her aunt's footsteps. This second season includes eight episodes and some behind the scenes footage.
Death by Design - Peregine tries to figure out how an architect and his wife were killed.
Come Die with Me - Wedding plans get put on hold when someone is killed during flight attendant training.
Blood Wedding - Peregine tags along when James investigates a murderous wedding
A Killer Unleased - A competitor dies at a dog show.
Death Alley - A bowling fight leads to a decapitation.
Coop de Grace - The president of the pigeon club winds up dead.
Reel Murder - Peregine hopes for a relaxing getaway until one of her friends catches a body in their reel.
New Year's Evil - The lead singer of a band is killed during a New Year's party.
This is a great series giving a new era of fun mysteries with the same eye for historical detail as the original series. If you enjoy shows with strong women, this is one you simply can't miss. If you want to take advantage a whole set of great mysteries, this is the series for you. You can order Miss Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries on DVD on Acorn Media or Amazon.
