My Thoughts

In this apocalyptic series, a new ice age has destroyed most of civilization.  The few surviving humans live on trains that go in endless circles around the world. Instead of living in peace, there is a social divide that tears the world apart. The first season includes ten exciting episodes.

First, the Weather Changed- The last detective, a man named Layton, is hired to solve a terrible murder.

Prepare to Brace - Layton trains a crew to help with the murder case. A resource problem threatens the train.

Access is Power - Layton visits the black market and Melanie sets up a prize fight.

Without Their Maker - There's a big twist in the case and Layton is close to discovering Melanie's secret.

Justice Never Boarded - Tensions between the classes get tense as they prepare for the murder trial.

Trouble Comes Sideways - Layton is planning a revolution and there is a engineering emergency.

The Universe is Indifferent - Layton plans to use Melanie's secret against her and she frantically tries to chase him down.

These Are His Revaluations - Layton leads the lower class in a revolution and Melanie is in danger of becoming the first casualty.

The Train Demanded Blood - The rebels are suspicious when someone from the other side wants to join them.

944 Cars Long - After the revolution ends, Layton must deal with the survivors and Melanie has to come to terms with her past.

Snowpiercer is a really exciting sci-fi series with all the best elements. There are heroes and villains, but sometimes the lines blur. There's lots of action and even a murder to solve. I can't wait to see what happens in season two. You can grab a copy of this awesome Blu-ray for yourself in stores nationwide or online at Amazon.
