War With Grandpa Review

Sixth-grader Peter (Fegley) is pretty much your average kid—he likes gaming, hanging with his friends and his beloved pair of Air Jordans. But when his recently widowed grandfather Ed (De Niro) moves in with Peter's family, the boy is forced to give up his most prized possession of all, his bedroom. Unwilling to let such an injustice stand, Peter devises a series of increasingly elaborate pranks to drive out the interloper, but Grandpa Ed won't go without a fight. Soon, the friendly combatants are engaged in an all-out war with side-splitting consequences.

 My Thoughts

Any movie starring Robert DeNiro is sure to be a hit, and War with Grandpa is no different. In this fun comedy, Grandpa Ed just lost his wife and moves in with his family. He grandson Peter isn't happy about he arrangement when its leads to  him losing his bedroom. He decides to make his grandfather's life difficult with a series of harmless pranks. What he doesn't expect is for Ed to fight back. Soon, there's an all out prank war going on in the house and who will emerge victorious is anyone's guess.

This is is a really fun family film with lots of humor, but also but tender family moments. The all star cast includes not only Robert DeNiro but also Uma Thurman and Christopher Walken. Its a movie people of all ages can enjoy, but its definitely a great choice for kids to watch this their grandparents his holiday season.
