Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand.

My Thoughts

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, StarLord and the whole gang are back for an even bigger adventure. Quill wants to learn who his real father is, and his friends are on-board to help. However, they run into a lot of trouble along the way and have to fight to keep their team together. Some new characters are introduced and old enemies make a reappearance. The team faces danger head-on every step of the way, but together they can overcome anything--even what they discover about Quill's real dad.

This was a sequel that really lived up to the original film. In addition to a great cast and a fun story line,  there are lots of other little nuances that make this film awesome. First of all, it doesn't take itself too seriously like some other space hero movies. I love the music, and of course, baby Groot stole the show.  I also like the budding romance between Quill and Gamora. The scene where he wants to press the button is classic.  Like the original, this is a show that my whole family and I will enjoy again and again. It's definitely a blu-ray we needed in our collection.
