Our Family Movie Night
This weekend, our family got to chill out with Fox's brand new release, Penguins of Madagascar. Watching this film was extra fun because we received a whole set of plush toys based on the characters in the film. My kids sat down to enjoy the movie with all the stuffed animals. They even say some of the phrases from the film.
The Penguins of Madagascar is a fun film that gives you a closer look into the lives of the penguins. It starts out when they were just babies. Skipper and the others save Private before he hatches from the egg, and the four of them become an unconventional family and eventually wind up at the zoo. Flash forward a few years and a vindictive mad scientist octopus is out to get them for stealing his audience. He tries turning all the zoo penguins all over the world into mutants, and the penguins need to stop him with some help from a few new friends. This movie is loaded with lots of laughs and is great fun for the whole family.
Of course watching a movie about penguins wouldn't be complete with enjoying little ice-cream. Fox provided everything we needed to have a icy treat with as the movie wound down.
