Polmedia Polish Pottery Review

Polish Pottery is beautiful and durable stoneware that is made by hand in Boleslawiec in the South-West region of Poland. Stoneware is a type of clay that is fired and matured in extremely high temperature exceeding 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. In essence it is a man-made stone that is impermeable and hard enough to resist scratching by a steel point. This hand painted stoneware became known throughout the world simply as Polish pottery.

There are several factories in Boleslawiec that manufacture Polish pottery. The highest quality Polish pottery is made by Ceramika Artystyczna. Their craftsmanship has been internationally recognized year after year. They employ the most talented artists in the region who hand-paint each piece of Polish pottery using brushes and sponges from the Baltic Sea. Another large manufacturer is Zaklady Ceramiczne. The smaller ones include Manufaktura, Wiza, Millenium, WR, Dana, Andy, Cerfar, Cergor and many more.

Polish pottery found on www.polmedia.com is safe to use in the microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer. All Polish pottery that we sell is lead and cadmium free. We only import the highest quality Polish pottery, also known as Quality 1.

Our Thoughts

This company has some very unique products as shown above. Of course my love of coffee forced me to choose a mug and how adorable it is too!
Beautifully crafted, extremely soft and keeps my coffee the perfect temperature! Then handle fits my little fingers perfectly and the cup itself isn't too hot with my beverage. Also great for you milk drinkers too or whatever else you want to put in there. There are not any blemishes on my mug that I received. The colors are vibrant and I love that the designs depict the Polish culture/style. Each piece is unique and suited to your taste. Polmedia has so many pieces to choose from there is something for everyone, from butter dishes to home decorative pieces!

They also make lovely hand-crafted jewelry such as this stunning bracelet below.

All pieces are reasonably priced for an amazing splash of Poland in your home. Buy yours here and don't forget to check them out on Facebook as well as their blog!
