Preserve Your Cherished Memories with LifeTales Child Journals

When I was a kid, we used to use baby books, photo albums, and scrapbooks to keep track of our memories. It's a different world today. Everything is digital, and old fashioned photos are becoming a thing of the past. If you want to embrace modern technology, but still want to keep track of off all the special moments in your children's lives, than LifeTales Child Journals might be exactly what you're looking for.

LifeTales is an online platform that allows you to preserve and share all your favorite memories using multimedia “stories". You can share video, audio, text, and images of all your favorite moments.  It's like having a virtual scrapbook that will never fade. This week, LifeTales is launching a brand new component to their site called Child Journals. This add-on will make it easier to track your child's special moments and share your dreams for them. It will help you both remember all the little quirks and nuisances of their personality as they grow and change.

If you're worried that setting up your Child Journals will be time-consuming, have no fear.  Tracking your favorite memories will only take a minute or so each week. The service is also safe and secure.  Everything you upload is completely private unless you choose to share it with others. Child Journals offers exciting features like growth chart options, milestones, photo galleries, and many other virtual tools to help you create lasting memories. In the future, other family members will also be able to contribute to the stories.

The LifeTales apps is currently available on iOS . It will also be available soon on the web & Android. The basic LifeTales features are 100% free to use on any of these devices. However, the Child Journals feature is a paid add-on. You can try your first month for free, and for a limited time, you can grab a subscription for only $1.99 a month.  That's 60% off the regular price!  For less than $42, you can chronicle your child's journey from their first steps until they graduate from college! This would make an amazing gift for them and a lifetime keepsake for the whole family! Someday, they can even share it with their own children.

To learn more about LifeTales and the new Child Journals add-on, be sure to visit their website. The special introductory rate of $1.99 per month will only be available for limited time. So, act now and start preserving all your most cherished memories today.

My Thoughts
The items I received were adorable. Any little girl, teenage girl, or adult would love to have pieces from this collection.

I received 2 journals.

I found the journals to have high quality paper inside. My ink didn't bleed through the paper. They were just the right size to slide into my purse or for someone to tuck away in a drawer. The color scheme was beautiful, and I enjoyed the scripture on the inside. Each journal came with a variety of quotes or scripture at the bottom of each page.

I also received 32 cards again with positive quotes or scripture that I could hand out to friends or someone who might need a little pick me up, and a folder with sticky notes, again with positive quotes on it.

And I also got some adorable magnets to keep on my fridge and some are on my daughters dry erase board in her bedroom.

I think this is a great line of products from Sadie Robertson and DaySpring. They will made great additions to back packs this coming school season. I really like how they promote self confidence and positive statements in lives. It's possible this product could cheer someone up on a bad day.

August Book Buddies Selections from Parragon Books - Review & #Giveaway

Parragon is one of the largest illustrated non-fiction publishers in the world. From great selections of Disney, Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Discovery Kids, Dora, TMNT, Sponge Bob to in-house favorites including Little Learners, Pinkabella, Dino Supersaurus, Glitterbelle, Life Canvas, Love Food and more, they make books affordable and accessible to readers all around the globe. Here are a few great choices from their Little Learners Collection.

Count to Ten With a Mouse

Wait! Open this set VERY gently-there s a little mouse inside! Carefully turn the pages and learn to count with your cuddly mouse! This beautifully illustrated story set from best-selling author Margaret Wise Brown - creator of the children s classic Goodnight Moon will enchant children and parents alike.

My Thoughts

This adorable story is a wonderful way to teach young children their numbers. When you open the book, it's designed to look as though the mouse lives within the pages. He climbs through the holes and every time there is a new discovery. Kids can count butterflies, cats, monkeys and a variety of other interesting  things. When you come to the end, you can go backwards and learn the numbers in reverse. While at times some of the wording is slightly repetitive, overall its a great story. This new addition also comes with a plush mouse to go along with the story and my son loved having the toy in his lap as we read along.

With holes to peek through and shapes to peep over, join this cat and dog in their playful, peek-a-boo romp through the pages. For a long, long time, everyone has known that dogs and cats just don't get along. Dogs want to play. Cats want to sleep. Dogs want to chase. Cats want to run and hide! One little cat knows all this very well. So she runs ... into a book where she eats a little bear's porridge, through a story where she circles round and round and down a beanstalk, and through so many more favorite fairy tales and rhymes. And, of course, a dog chases her! But what will happen when he finally catches up? Written by award-winning author Malachy Doyle, this new picture book encourages interactive reading, a love of books, and an excitement for sharing stories.

My Thoughts

In Peek-A-Book, a little dog in one book chases a cat from another book right out of the pages. They begin a hilarious race through some of the most popular fairytales. They stop to eat the three bears' porridge, startle Jack's giant, and even come across the candy house from Hansel and Gretal.  As you follow them from one page to another, there are  flaps were you can get a peek at what's to come. This also lets the dog see where the cat was going next. My four-year-old daughter loved this book. She thought the silly shenanigans were hilarious and she loved how the cat and dog entwined themselves in all her favorite stories. This is a humorous and original children's book with beautiful illustrations that will keep any child glued to their seats.

My Thoughts

Here's a little something for the moms! The Paris Journal is beautifully bound with lush pages. Whether you like to keep a dream journal or need a place to organize your thoughts, his little book is just the thing. It's compact enough to carry in your handbag. It's also a great little notebook for older kids heading back to school. My teen daughter actually swiped mine to write her poetry in.  There are certainly tons of ways to fill these pages.
