Making Real Money with Apps — Five Surveys

Today’s app in my series of real money earners is Five Surveys, a website that pays you for taking surveys. As the name promises, if you complete five surveys, you get $5, and it goes straight to your PayPal. No waiting days for approval, no hoops, no drama.

I’ve only been using it for a few months, mostly while I’m sitting in the car waiting for my kids to get out of work, and I’ve already cashed out $15. If you have more free time than I do, you could easily earn more. It’s the perfect “watch TV and make a few bucks” kind of app. They also have games you can play to earn cash, but I haven’t tested that part yet.

The Pros

• Instant payouts — money hits your PayPal right away.

• Easy to do anywhere — car line, couch, waiting rooms, you name it.

• Great for downtime — take surveys while you binge Netflix

The Cons

• Even though it’s “five surveys for $5,” some are actually half surveys, meaning you need to complete two to get credit. These are usually the super short ones.

• Some surveys kick you out after the demographic questions. I get why they do it, but it’s still annoying when you’re mid‑click.

• A few surveys take longer than expected, so it’s not always a quick hit.

Final Thoughts

If you want to make a little extra cash for a rainy day, or to fund your next mystery box haul, Five Surveys is worth checking out. It’s simple, it’s legit, and it pays instantly.

Apps That Make You Real Money — Receipt Hog

Today we’re diving into Receipt Hog, the second app in my series on apps that actually make you real money. If you already use Fetch, this one will feel familiar, but it works a little differently.

Receipt Hog lets you scan receipts to earn rewards, but unlike Fetch, you don’t get coins for every receipt. Instead, the app sorts your receipts into different reward types:

• Grocery store receipts earn you coins, which you can cash out for real money.

• Other stores earn you tickets for the monthly sweepstakes.

• Some receipts give you spins on the Hog Slots, a cute little slot machine where you can win extra coins.

It might feel like you’re earning less at first, but in my experience, I usually end up cashing out Fetch and Receipt Hog around the same time. And the best part? You can scan the same receipts on both apps, which means you’re doubling your rewards without spending double the money.

Extra Ways to Earn

Receipt Hog gives you several bonus earning options:

• Link your online shopping accounts for extra sweepstakes entries

• Take surveys to earn bonus coins

• Refer friends for additional rewards

• Hit weekly and monthly goals to earn extra spins on the Hog Slots

Between all of that, the coins really do add up. So far, I’ve made $120 just by scanning receipts I’d normally throw away.

Final Thoughts

Receipt Hog is a great companion app to Fetch. Slower in some ways, but surprisingly steady. If you’re already scanning receipts, you might as well earn twice the rewards. If you decide to try it, please sign up using my referral link so we can both get a bonus!

Making Real Money with Apps — Fetch Rewards

Welcome to the first post in my new series where I test out apps that claim you can earn real money just by using them. Today we’re starting with one of my longtime favorites: Fetch Rewards.

Fetch is a free app that lets you scan your receipts to earn points, which you can then exchange for gift cards. It doesn’t matter where you shop — grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, dollar stores, restaurants — if you get a receipt, you can scan it. Every receipt earns a minimum of 25 points, but the real fun comes from the bonus points you can get when you buy certain name‑brand products. And Fetch makes those bonus moments entertaining. When you hit a bonus, their little mascots pop up and act out tiny animated shows that kids will love.

My Experience Using Fetch

I’ve been using Fetch for about two years, and in that time I’ve cashed out $150, all from receipts I would’ve thrown away anyway. I always choose Amazon gift cards, but Fetch offers tons of options: restaurants, retail stores, travel, entertainment, and even Visa/Mastercard prepaid cards. You can also link your Amazon and Walmart accounts so Fetch can automatically scan your digital receipts.

Fetch also has:

• Sweepstakes entries you can redeem with points

• Referral bonuses when you invite friends

• Special brand challenges for extra points

• Seasonal promotions that boost your earnings

Why Fetch Works

Fetch is one of the easiest earning apps because:

• You don’t have to activate offers

• You don’t have to clip coupons

• You don’t have to shop at specific stores

• You don’t have to track anything

You just scan receipts. That’s it. It’s simple, consistent, and fun, especially when those mascots start dancing. If you’re looking for a legit, low‑effort way to earn gift cards, Fetch Rewards is a great place to start. It’s beginner‑friendly, kid‑approved, and rewarding. Whether you’re saving up for holiday shopping or just want a little extra spending money, Fetch makes it easy. Stay tuned for the next post in this series, where I’ll test another app and see how it stacks up. If you decide to sign up, please use my link or invite code: H65F69.

#Holiday Gift Guide - Give the Gift of Security with @Vyncs Groups GPS Tracker - #DiscountCode

I have two teenage children who are just beginning to spread their wings. Both are driving and one is in college. I want them to go out and experience all life has to offer, but I also worry about their safety when they are away from me. They are great kids and I like to think I trained them to make good choices, but anyone can run into trouble when they are alone. Like most parents, I sit up every night until they come in and I always worry about things like car accidents or a sudden illness...maybe a kidnapping. It's mother's prerogative to worry, but Vyncs can help to settle your nerves so you don't wind up with too many gray hairs.

If you aren't familiar, Vyncs is a full-service connected car product that comes with real-time tracking, driver monitoring, vehicle health, 24/7 roadside assistance, and  many more awesome perks. It offers all this for the best  price on the market and no monthly fees. For one low price, you will receive one device and one full year of service on AT&T or T-Mobile wireless networks in USA or Telus or Bell in Canada. The device works in over 200 countries and is backed by thousands of network carriers worldwide. Vyncs is a highly rated and bestselling product in its category on many e-commerce platforms, including Amazon.

One of the most amazing things about Vyncs is that their service allows people to share location using just each other's phones, so you always know your family is safe. The best part about this feature is that it's free for anyone, regardless of whether they have a Vyncs device or not. All you have to do is download the Vyncs app and approve the access to each other’s location via custom groups’ code. I also like that it has to be approved, so not just anyone is tracking my location.

In addition to the GPS tracker, the Vyncs app has lots of other fun perks.  The Shop@Vyncs feature is a shopping tool that can be found within the user’s account. They search Amazon for awesome deals their users are sure to love, and it is not limited to just cars. To use these feature, simply create a list of the products you wish to purchase.  For example, if you wish to purchase a digital camera,  write “digital camera” and they will send you an email or push notification when a great deal for a digital camera is available. They track Lightning Deals, Sales, and Deals of the day to help you save time and money. They also have “Deal Finder,” and the “Browse Handpicked Products” features within the menu which can really come in handy this holiday season.

Another cool feature is the "Save on Gas" tool which allows users to see which gas station is giving their vehicle the best gas mileage. The Vyncs tracker automatically detects when a user fills up their tank and prompts for some simple input, like confirming the station and price per gallon. Afterwards, users can keep track of their fill ups and eventually see which station is has the best prices for their vehicle. Even if you don't have a Vyncs tracker, you can still use this feature and have access to the analytics by manually inputting the data.

Finally, make sure you check out some of the awesome Fleet features. Vyncs Fleet is the fleet version of Vyncs with many features for commercial fleets and support for more than five vehicles. Some of the features include driver-specific trip reports, fuel cost tracking, driver behavior monitoring and scoring, and fleet-level zone notifications.

If you want to learn more about the Vyncs app, visit their website. This holiday season, give your family the gift of peace of mind and great deals! Grab a Vyncs device or simply check out the free app today.  You'll sleep better knowing your kids are safe and it makes it a little easier to let them go.

Help Your Kids Learn to Read with Wonster Words

Wonster Words is an exciting educational app inspired by some of your favorite Sesame Street Characters. Available on both  iOS & Android, this award winning app helps children learn how to sound out their words and improve their spelling.

Wonster Words introduces basic word families and the some of the most common phonemes to children in ways that make them fun. They can play with animated letters and use them to put together different words. These animated letters will sound out the phonics, gliding vowels, and consonant blends as they are being played which helps children understand how the words sound and helps them learn to read. Once kids complete their words, they are rewarded with short animations and mini-games that tell the story of the words. Some of the key features of the game include:

•    Learn the ABC’s and Phonics and Spelling
•    Fall in love with the adorable Wonster crew as they explore word families, phonemes,    digraphs and more
•  Silly animations reinforce word definitions in a fun and engaging way
•  Hundreds of words, 12 word families and 12 original stories; frequent new content
•  Encourages exploration and engagement without scoring, quizzing, limits, or stress
•  Stories cover popular children’s themes including: birthdays, friendships, nature, space, and more

Just in time for the holidays, they have also introduced a few new features kids and parents are certain to love:

• Introducing the interactive Wonster Island, an entirely new User Experience!!
• New educational biomes cover Phonics, Stories, Math, Science, Art and Music
• New engaging mini-games that reinforce puzzle topics
• 5 new original scores and silly ambiance throughout the app
• Vowels coming soon!

I have several children who are learning to spell new words in school.  Sometimes it can be a challenge, but this app has made learning spelling fun for them at home!  The words that they are spelling aren't always in line with what they're spelling at school but it's giving them a head start with other words.  Since we started using this app, my kids can spell things they really struggled with before.

What I liked the most is that not only is this fun for the kids, it's fun for adults, too.  It's learning and the kids don't even realize they're learning! The graphics are fabulous and it's just an all around fun app!  I would highly recommend this app to those who want an educational experience for their children but also want them to have fun while learning!

This amazing app has been the recipient of many awards including Parent’s Choice, Children’s Technology Review Editor’s Choice, and the National Parenting Product Award, and is recommended for ages 3-6. If you want to try out the Wonster Words app for yourself, it's available on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon. Download it now for the holidays and make sure your children don't fall  behind on the holiday break.

Keep Your Kids Entertained with the #FREE Jetzer App!

I am always on the  App Store looking for children’s apps to help entertain my kids. The problem is that I am tired of downloading game after game which can be very expensive, as well as time consuming to source out. Games are great to keep them occupied, but I also want my children to have an educational experience while they are using their device. Too often, I look over my shoulder and my child is viewing inappropriate content on their iPad.

I recently came across an iOS app which seems to address all of my parental concerns! Jezter is a digital babysitter that can keep kids entertained while giving parents with peace of mind. This new and completely free entertainment platform offers thousands of titles in shows, games, comics, education, and more. Curated content is added every week to ensure kids will never get bored.

Jezter allows us to control our kid’s screen time all from one location. Save time, money, and effort in entertainment for your child. As parents, we can now craft time-controlled playlists from the catalog, choosing the right balance of education and entertainment. Other parents may encourage children to use Jezter as a content discovery platform to find new media in a safe, curated environment. This is great feature for parents like myself who do not have a ton of extra time, but still want their child to have a wholesome experience on their device.

No more concerns about kids downloading or opening inappropriate content. Parents can get back to whatever they need to do while Jezter becomes a digital babysitter for their kids!
