Digestic by Mimonis Review- A 100% Natural Herbal Remedy.
DIGESTIVE DETOX:
Non habit-forming Digestic relieves
constipation and boosts overall digestive health naturally
It’s a topic that’s largely
missing from the national health conversation.
But constipation can be just as uncomfortable and disruptive to daily
life as more talked about issues like headaches, congestion and insomnia. And it’s practically as common, as constipation
affects over 80 million Americans.
Left untreated – or unsuccessfully treated –
constipation can become chronic, magnifying the accompanying bloating, pain and
generalized discomfort. Enter Digestic, an all-natural herbal supplement
formulated to ease digestion, regulate metabolism, relieve the symptoms of
constipation, and most importantly help strengthen and support the digestive
system. Digestic’s proprietary formula is non-habit forming and
uses five key all-natural, organic plants and herbs sourced from the globe’s finest
purveyors. These are carefully
cultivated, then picked and processed at their peak to maximize their efficacy.
Digestic is manufactured by
Mimonis, Inc., a Hackensack, New Jersey-based family-owned business dedicated
to studying colon health and developing natural, alternative solutions. The formula draws upon years of research,
incorporating both modern science and ancient remedies that blend herbs and
plants known to help digestion and detoxification.
“Digestic provides immediate
relief from constipation, gas and bloating, but unlike a laxative, it is not
just a Bandaid solution,” says Dr. Joe Raphael, an integrative lifestyle
medicine specialist and consultant to Mimonis. “It works to restore equilibrium to the
intestinal eco-system, instead of merely cleaning it out. As such, it is a powerful integrative
lifestyle solution and an alternative to habit-forming laxatives and
prescription medications.”
Following are the active
ingredients featured in Digestic:
Digestic is gluten-free,
vegan, non GMO, certified kosher and uses only organic ingredients. Users should begin by taking two capsules
daily, with dinner. If needed, dosage
may be increased by adding two capsules before breakfast and or lunch. Daily dosage should not exceed six capsules.

My Thoughts:
I've always been intrigued by herbal remedies. Even in college, I've taken courses to see how they affect the human body. With detoxes becoming popular in the health and wellness world, I was interested in giving Digestic a try. After doing my research, I saw that there was nothing but herbs in the supplement. Some of the ones included I've even used before. My mom decided to try this detox with me as well. I was excited to have a girl's health pampering with her!
The supplement arrived in an adorable bag with information pamphlets attached. My mom and I also made sure to read the back of the bottle as well to see the serving size and ingredients. We saw that the regular serving size was two. The amounts per serving size were: Fennel- 282 mg, Papaya- 235 mg, Tree Wormwood- 141 mg, Cardamom- 141 mg, and Aloe- 141 mg. After finishing up, mom and I decided it give it a try.
I can honestly say her and I both felt a difference after our first dose of Digestic. It's recommended that people who do not have severe irregularity or negative digestive symptoms should start out slow. I decided to stick to one before moving on to two. After taking only one supplement, I actually felt my stomach muscles contracting. It was the oddest feeling, but it was also pretty cool!
There was a decrease in my normal bloating and I also felt lighter right away. I did not need to take Digestic every day to continue seeing a difference. If I did feel a little extra bloated, I only needed one to help with that. My mom needed to take a couple a day, but she was just as pleased with her results as I was. This was a wonderful cleanse for us!
What I love about Digestic is that there are no additives like many supplements on the market. The only other ingredient besides herbs is the veggie capsule the herbs are kept in, making this nonaddictive. They're soft and easy and swallow. What is also wonderful is that Digestic is non-GMO, organic, vegan, kosher and gluten free. From being able to do this test with my mom, I can say that it is important to start Digestic out slow, learning what works best for your body. I personally only needed one to see results, while my mom took the normal serving size. What works best for one may not work best for another, so take your time learning how much or how little works for you!
Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to do a safe cleanse and/or naturally help their digestive health.

My Thoughts
If you've always wanted to grow an herb garden, but didn't think you had the knowledge or the time, the Click & Grow Smart Herb Garden could be just what you're looking for. This quick and convenient garden system will have you growing lush herbs in no time at all.
Using the Click and Grow Smart Herb Garden is easy. You can have it set up in just a few simple steps. Each set comes with three herbs. Mine were basil, thyme, and lemon balm. All you have to do is install the cartridges in the dome and add water to the tank. It even comes with tags to name them. Once it's all set up, you plug in the LED light. Then you can just let it go. The lights and water do all the work for you. If the water needs to be replenished, the light starts blinking, so you don't even need to worry about monitoring that.
I was really impressed with the Click & Grow Herb Garden. Within days, I saw a few little buds poking out, and I'm excited to see how big they get. I've always been an utter failure at gardening, but this system makes it easy and fun to grow your own herbs.

Summer Kickoff: Fruit & Herb Popsicles from Litehouse Instantly Fresh Herbs - #Giveaway
There’s nothing as refreshing on a warm summer day as a Popsicle. Luckily, these delicious frozen treats have evolved from the sticky, sweetness on a stick the ice cream man used to deliver. The latest treats are easy to make at home and blend fresh fruit with culinary herbs for mouthwatering flavor combinations like:
·
Pineapple-Coconut-Ginger
·
Mango-Strawberry-Lemongrass
·
Black Cherry-Blackberry
·
Watermelon-Basil
Check out these recipes for
Fruit & Herb popsicles from Litehouse Foods, which use
Instantly Fresh Herbs, freeze-dried fresh herbs, with no additives and lots
of flavor - just like fresh, but they last much longer.
Fruit & Herb Pops” are blended fruit chunks or sugar-free fruit juice combined with easy-to-make herb syrup from low-glycemic agave nectar and Litehouse Instantly Fresh Ginger, Lemongrass, or Basil.
Ingredients:
For Pineapple-Coconut-Ginger Pops
1/3-cup water
2 tsp. Instantly Fresh Ginger (use one tsp. for a milder ginger flavor)
1-1/2 Tbsp. blue agave nectar (an all-natural, low glycemic sweetener)
1 cup pineapple-coconut juice, unsweetened
1 kiwi, sliced thinly
For Mango-Strawberry-Lemongrass Pops
1/3-cup water
2 tsp. Instantly Fresh Lemon Grass
1-1/2 Tbsp. blue agave nectar
1 cup mango juice, unsweetened
4 large strawberries, sliced thinly
For Black Cherry-Blackberry Pops
1/3-cup water
2 tsp. Instantly Fresh Lemon Grass
1-1/2 Tbsp. blue agave nectar
1 cup mango juice, unsweetened
5 large blackberries, halved
For Watermelon-Basil Pops
1/3-cup water
2 teaspoon Instantly Fresh Basil
1-1/2 tablespoon blue agave nectar
4 cups seedless watermelon, cut into chunks
1/3-cup water
2 tsp. Instantly Fresh Ginger (use one tsp. for a milder ginger flavor)
1-1/2 Tbsp. blue agave nectar (an all-natural, low glycemic sweetener)
1 cup pineapple-coconut juice, unsweetened
1 kiwi, sliced thinly
For Mango-Strawberry-Lemongrass Pops
1/3-cup water
2 tsp. Instantly Fresh Lemon Grass
1-1/2 Tbsp. blue agave nectar
1 cup mango juice, unsweetened
4 large strawberries, sliced thinly
For Black Cherry-Blackberry Pops
1/3-cup water
2 tsp. Instantly Fresh Lemon Grass
1-1/2 Tbsp. blue agave nectar
1 cup mango juice, unsweetened
5 large blackberries, halved
For Watermelon-Basil Pops
1/3-cup water
2 teaspoon Instantly Fresh Basil
1-1/2 tablespoon blue agave nectar
4 cups seedless watermelon, cut into chunks
Directions:
2. Pour juice into bowl with spout or (if making watermelon pops), blend fruit until pureed. (Note: no blender is needed for pops made with fruit juice.)
3. Add syrup to blender with watermelon puree and blend for a few more seconds. If making juice pops, pour syrup into bowl with juice and stir.
4. Pour fruit puree or juice into 10 3-oz ice pop compartments and leave ½ inch of space at the top. Add 1 or two slices or pieces of fruit to each compartment and put popsicle sticks and lid (if included) in place.
5. Place pops in freezer and freeze for 2-4 hours or until contents have frozen solid.
My Thoughts
I grow many of my own herbs, but right now my crop is just beginning to sprout and isn't quite ready to be picked yet. I've often used dried herbs as an alternative, but it was never as good as fresh herbs. I've heard freeze dried herbs were a better option, but I'd never had a chance to try them before. Litehouse Instantly Fresh Herbs are as fresh and their name implies. I used them for a few different recipes, and they were so delicious, they could've come straight from my own garden.
The first thing I tried with my Litehouse herbs was the watermelon basil popsicle. Making this is a simple and a fun summer activity. It's a delicious and healthy snack kids and adults can both enjoy. I never considered adding basil to watermelon, but the combination is actually incredibly refreshing. The addition of the basil keeps it from being overly sweet and really wakes up your taste buds.
Even though its almost summer, the nights have still been chilly here at the Jersey Shore, so I decided to try making some herbal tea as well. I love loose leaf tea made from fresh or dried herbs, and often mix my own. I used the Litehouse Instantly Fresh Lemongrass and Mint to create a nice, light tea. All you need are two teaspoons of each which can be added to a diffuser or loose leaf tea bag. Add boiling water, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes and you're good to go.
This tea turned out perfectly with my Litehouse herbs. While I do grow some mint, Lemongrass is one herb I always fail miserably at, so I've never had it fresh. I could really taste the difference. This was one of the best cups of tea I ever made. While I enjoyed this tea hot, the same blend is just as enjoyable iced. If you want it to be a little sweeter, just add a spoonful of honey.
These are only a few examples of the delicious creations you can enjoy with Litehouse Instantly Fresh Herbs. They are perfect for seasoning your meals and making teas. Now that I've tried freeze dried, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to old fashioned dried herbs again, and I've already been exploring the website to see what other blends I can add to my herb cabinet.

Celebrate HalloWellness with Orange + Black Indian Spices - Halloween Gift Guide
ORGANIC INDIA was formed as a labor of love. They began working with farms in northern India to grow Tulsi ~ Holy Basil to create their signature product, Tulsi Tea. They now include other Indian herb specialties.
Add a little more
to your trick-or-treat this Halloween season, and turn your
sweet-filled month into a HalloWellness one! This year, treat yourself,
your family and friends to a orange and black festive pairing of Organic
India's Turmeric and Chyawanprash.
Here are a few favorite Halloween concoctions to spice up your season:
Turmeric -
This orange spice supports inflammation, digestion joints and radiant
skin. Available in capsule and powder form, there's no need to look like
a ghost this Halloween! Oh, and this is Doctor Oz. approved?
Chyawanprash - This
100% organic herbal jam is packed with 36 traditional Indian herbs +
vitamin C, aiding in digestion, metabolism, memory and even skin
complexion. It's deep black color will make even the simplest toast a bit more spooky :)
Our Thoughts
Tumeric is as orange as can be in these capsules. I have only recently used tumeric in my own diet in the past year and a half. It has a taste unlike any other so I only add a dash here or there in certain dishes but I know it's full of healthy stuff for you so I want to eat it in higher quantities without burning my tastebuds out on it's taste. Tumeric Formula is the best solution to accomplish my goal. The label clearly states it's health benefits (blood and lymph system) and serving size. Of course, it's organic!
Chyawanprash looks like tar! It is not at all the consistency you think of when you hear the word jam, it really took me by surprise. The taste, however, is very interesting. It's being promoted around Halloween time, however it reminds me more of Christmas! There is this underlying spicy/cinnamon taste that I love in anything, so it makes this taste great. There is also a subtle flavor of black licorice, which is not my favorite at all, but mixed with the other tastes it blends really well. The best way I can describe it is the bubble gum from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, when Violet is eating the gum and it goes through different meals. Aside from the taste, it is Organic, and from a brand, Organic India, which I trust. I know that I am putting healthy food in my body when I eat this and it's filling too so you don't need a lot and it'll last a while.
