My Thoughts

I am very particular about the video games I let my kids play. I have zero tolerance for blood and violence. I also like games that either make them think or encourage their artistic abilities. The Xbox One is my favorite game system because it encourages interactive play. It's more than just sitting on your butt pushing buttons. You have to actually get up and be a part of the game. Just Sing for Xbox One is a new game from Ubisoft that is just the type of game I am always on the look out for. It allows my children to sing along with tons of songs from all their favorite artists. It even puts their face on the screen to let them feel like they're making a video of their own.

Just Sing is rated E so its safe for  kids of any age to play.  All my children had fun singing along to all their favorite songs.  I also had a great time joining in, though I personally prefer singing show tunes The game offers full tracks, no annoying partials. You can play with up to four players so it's a great choice for family game night.  The song list includes some of the following songs:

Wassa Thins - If you're getting ready to enjoy some cheese and crackers, these crackers will take a traditional late night snack to a whole new dimension. The sesame seeds and sea salt are delicious and a healthier option. 

Barilla Marinara Sauce- I am already very familiar with this brand. I always have a few bottles of this sauce in my cabinet. As a full-blooded Italian, I can tell you this is one of the best jarred sauces out there, and second only to my grandmother's secret recipe.

Other brands I never heard of before getting my  DegustaBox. There wasn't anything in this batch that someone didn't enjoy and I know I'll be looking for many of these brands in my local store. September is National Preparedness Month! #GetReadyGetSafe #PrepStep

September is National Preparedness Month!

Children are the most vulnerable in emergency situations.  That’s why Save the Children encourages everyone to act to better protect kids BEFORE disaster strikes.

We’d love your support getting everyone to complete PREP STEP #1 in our #GetReadyGetSafe #PrepStep campaign the week of Sept. 25.  We’ll say thank you by sending two emergency go-bags to bloggers who:

My Thoughts:

I see Dove commercials constantly while watching television. The products always appear to be high quality and relaxing. It appears as if the users are going to have a luxurious spa day. After hearing so many good things, as well as seeing how much Dove campaigns for women, I was very excited to give these products a try. I personally love essential oils, and one of my main complaints has always been finding the perfect system to keep my dry skin away. My main trouble areas are my legs and hands. 

When the Dove goodies arrives, I instantly read over the information packet mailed with it. It was similar to what I have posted above. Everything sounded wonderful and I was ready to use them that evening in the shower! I started off by trying the Dove Nutrium Moisture Body Wash. It instantly bubbled into a light foam that spread easily. I could tell it was gentle on the skin, but was still effective. It creates a thick lather that's amazingly soft. It  truly feels like it locks in the moisture. After getting out, I was impressed to feel how soft my skin was. After pat drying, I could see the difference in the dryer spots of my body. I've used these products along with my usual after shower moisturizing routine for a couple weeks now and have loved the results! I'd highly recommend this Dove line to anyone looking for something to help with dry skin.

Pros:

Really does moisturize your skin! 

You will feel and see the results quickly.

Smells great.

Fair price for the quality.

The size of the products are large.

Wonderful addition to my current after shower moisturizing routine.

Cons:

The scent is very strong. If you're sensitive to heavy smells, these products may not be for you. However, I adjusted to the smell over time and it does not seem as strong to me now.

My Thoughts

I got to try out two of these products and they were both pretty awesome. The Fango Essenziali is one of those full face masks. Simply wash your skin and lay it on for about 25 minutes. It's cool and refreshing as soon as it makes contact, and I love the sweet scent of Mango and Pomegranate. The formula really does give your skin a boost. My skin looked and felt revitalized after the treatment, and during it, I felt like it was a day at the spa.

The neuENVY peptide enhanced mascara  is the perfect way to keep your lashes looking their best.  You only need one coat to get succulent lashes that really make a statement. It also provides long-lasting coverage that will stand up to even your roughest day.

My Thoughts

Personal Creations has helped to bring my two greatest loves together. No matter how crazy they make me feel sometimes, I love my babies and I miss them when they're at school all day, even the teenagers.  Now I can have them close by all day long while I enjoy my favorite cup of Joe. In this case, they added a picture of my children's first day on school onto my a mug.  What makes this particular mug even more fun, is that the mug looks like a plain, dark mug until you pour something hot into it. Then the images appear like magic!
