My Friend Teddy - A Customizable Best Friend

My Friend Teddy is a one-of-a-kind cuddly bear. Teddy is an interactive bear who cares, shares and really knows your child.  Parents are able to customize favorite foods and interests, and family names and birthdays that are integrated into Teddy’s engaging storytelling, game play and educational development tools.  My Friend Teddy was recently featured at a charity event with Mario Lopez(Extra).

My Thoughts
My Friend Teddy was a hit with my nieces. One was two years old and the other was 6 months, and they loved him. From the time you turned him on, he would talk and interact. If you turned him upside down, he'd go, "Wheeeeee." And they both giggled.

With bluetooth technology, you connect him to an iPad or android tablet. There is an interactive app for the bear and you fill out a questionnaire about your child. Such as their favorite foods, their siblings names, people in their lives, toys they like, etc. The bear then begins to learn them and will say their name. The app also has stories on it that the bears read with his moving mouth. As well as a few game the child can play with My Friend Teddy. When not in the app, My Friend Teddy is a bluetooth speaker and danced as music played.

Overall, my nieces loved the bear. He was very soft and squishy for hugs. Not heavy to carry around, and took a beating pretty well. Learned that when my 2 year old niece decided to toss him. Props up to the company for making a product that can stand up to a toddler. My only complaint with the bear is that he didn't sit up well. When placing him in the sitting position he is positioned in, he kept falling over. Other than that, he was kid approved, aunt approved, and mom approved.

Buy One - Give One with Bears For Humanity #giveaway

Typically, when puschasing an item online, you are asked for your name, credit card and perhaps an option to join the mailing list. When you purchase a teddy bear from Bears For Humanity™, you have the delightful task of choosing a charity – because your purchase instantly doubles as a gift for a child in need!

More than that, the cuddly pal is personally delivered to a needy veteran’s house, a children’s hospital or an underprivileged household. The stuffed bears come in two sizes – 16” Premium Bear ($39.99) and 7” Baby Bear (19.99). The many charity options and five color choices are splashed across www.BearsForHumanity.com website that opens to a philosophical question – Can A Teddy Bear Change The World?

Toy industry experts, the California welfare-to-work program known as CalWORKs and an armful of mom bloggers heartily shout, “Yes!” The benefits only begin with the buy one-donate one model. The bears are luxuriously soft! Bears For Humanity pals are the only 100% Certified Organic Cotton/ Hemp teddy bears in the world. Plus, they are naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic which gives parents the peace of mind they don't get from polyester plush toys!

My Thoughts
I first have to say, this is a really nice bear. I was super impressed when I opened the box and found the bear. It was extremely well made, so soft, and just high quality. As I looked the bear over, I couldn't help but be even more impressed with this company. Not only did I get such a great bear, but it was also sent to a charity of my choice. I had a bear sent to Lucille's Childrens Hospital, and I hope it gave a child as much as a smile as I got when I saw my bear.

This company has taken the time with these bears to not only assure good quality, but have also made sure how they make the bears is beneficial. They are made with 100%  certified organic cotton and hemp. There is no polyester in these, and also hypoallergenic and antibacterial. When you purchase a bear and then have it sent to the charity of your choice, you can feel confidant that whatever issue a child might have, they will be okay with this bear.

As I mentioned, the quality of this bear surpassed what I thought I would be getting. The legs move from sitting to standing. The arms are on tight. The bear is soft and squishy and the right size for a child to hug in their arms.

This is not only a great bear, but a great cause to keep in mind with this upcoming holiday season.
