About Prince Lionheart:

In 1973 the Prince Lionheart brand was started by a hardworking couple making handmade wooden rocking horses. What started out of a family garage has evolved into a business which now operates out of a contemporary facility in Santa Maria, CA. Proof positive the American dream is possible! Its humble beginnings provided three core beliefs that have never changed: quality, innovation, and outstanding service. They believe their business is about families helping families. They source US based materials as often as possible. Today Prince Lionheart is known for their modern design and quality products such as feeding supplies, diaper changing and potty training products, travel and safety items plus unique ride-on toys.

Our Thoughts:

If you have kids you know that they want to play with everything. They want to play with trucks and cars and other vehicles, right? Where do they usually play with those? On the linoleum, tile, or hardwood floors. But what happens if they want to play on the carpet? They complain that the vehicles don't work as well.

The Prince Lionheart playMAT is amazing! It's made of a foam that has a bit of squish to it but not too much. It's waterproof so you can take it out side, to the beach, to brother's t-ball game, or anywhere else. Right now my boys' favorite spot for the playMAT is right in the middle of my living room! They can watch TV and play on the playMAT. I don't hear any complaining about how their trucks and cars won't work on the carpet and I don't hear any complaining about who is where. They've been playing very nicely together since the playMAT arrived!

I love, too, that they can be playing "city" one minute then collectively decide that they want to play "zoo" the next. All it takes is a flip of the playMAT. How cool is that?! I love this playMAT so much that we are planning on taking it the next time we go to the camper so the kids have a place to play with the indoor toys on the porch without worrying about slivers and loosing toys!

Review: Prince Lionheart Warmies wipesWarmer

The WARMIES^® wipesWARMER is designed to work with WARMIES^® reusable cloth wipes—the eco-happy way to wipe. A new three part heating system and specially designed anti-microbial micropore pillow help keep cloth wipes warm, moist, fresh, and ready for all of Baby’s delicate needs.

WARMIES^® cloth wipes are 100% rayon—made from bamboo—the fastest growing plant on Earth. This means that our source is highly renewable. No dyes or bleaches either, so Warmies^® are safe, soft, and more absorbent than cotton or disposable wipes—meaning you need less to get the job done! Using reusable wipes for your baby keeps tons of trash out of landfills annually, making WARMIES^® the environmentally conscious way to wipe. The patented everFRESH^® System helps keep your wipes the freshest they can be to soothe Baby’s skin. (WARMIES^® wipesWARMER $35 (includes 4 WARMIES^®), Reusable WARMIES^® are $11 for a pack of 8).

This Patented System works 3 ways:

Moisture Retention
The everFRESH^® pillow keeps wipes moist by an evaporation and condensation process. Micropores in the pillow trap and release water as needed to maintain wipes’ moisture.

Non-Browning
Keeping wipes moist prevents most discoloration caused when wipes are warmed. Discoloration also occurs when aloe, lotions, and other additives typically found in baby wipes are warmed over time. The everFRESH^® Pillow effectively insulates your wipes from the warming surface, preventing browning.

Anti-Microbial
Both the WARMIES® wipesWARMER’s tub and the everFRESH^® Pillow are treated with an EPA approved additive to inhibit the growth of microorganisms that may cause spoilage, odors, and mildew.

Our Thoughts:

Who would want something cold against your skin? Unless it's on a hot day, but even then, when we're talking about your bum, we tend to like things a certain way. And when we're talking about a baby? We forget that they would rather be warm and cozy, too.

Prince Lionheart and the Warmies wipesWarmer is a great way to give your sweet baby that added luxury of even though it's a diaper change, you're pampering their sensitive skin. No shock and awe with these wipes, because they stay moist and warm! I love that you don't have to scare baby with a cold wipe.

This is also a great idea for babies/kids that might have a sensory issue to cold things. They stay warm but not overly, and on a cold day, these are so nice for your little prince or princess. I give my baby girl one to hold while I change her; she loves the warmth it provides.

You don't have to worry about germs, because The warmer and the moisture pillow are treated to help prevent the growth of mildew and other ickies. There really isn't too much else to it, really. It's super simple to use, and the wipes are soft and are thick enough that you don't get anything on your hands!

Prince Lionheart has a range of products from play time toys, to bath time and potty. Their products are fashionable, and trendy!

I really think this is a great gift for any momma, even if you don't use cloth diapers! They make great wash cloths, face wipes, etc. Great baby shower item or welcome baby gift!

My Thoughts

My kids were lucky enough to receive a Prince Lionheart wheelyBug and they love it. We picked out the tiger, which is a unisex design perfect for either a boy or a girl. As soon as I opened the box, I was happy, because this toy comes completely assembled. I hate having ti put toys together, especially this time of year when there are so many other things to do on Christmas morning. This toy is set and ready to go.

The wheelyBug is is a little animal shaped shooter that is perfect for babies and toddlers. The seat is cushioned and there is a handle to help kids get a grip and control it. I love that it's completely kid-powered. They just push along with their feet, so they are getting exercise while they play. Its small enough that we can toss it in the car--its perfect for riding at the zoo, but they can also ride it around the house. It only weighs about four pounds, so its easy to carry around when you're on the go. It wheels well on both carpet and tile. The material is easy to wipe down if anything spills on it and it's very sturdy and well made. Just be aware that it is on the smaller side and designed for very young children, probably no older than five, but it will vary depending on size. My daughter is four years old and 35 pounds, and she is able to ride the larger size wheelyBug without any problems.

In addition to the tiger, they also have pigs, hedgehogs, ladybugs, bees, cows, and a mouse. If you're looking for a fun gift this holiday season that will be all ready to stick under the tree with no hassle and provide hours of fun for your kids, the wheelyBug from Prince Lionheart is a great choice.
