OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS
After touring the world, Bodi takes some time off and returns to his village. When he learns that the girl group, K-9, doesn't know who rock legend Angus Scattergood is, he is compelled to join the musical competition show, “Battle the Beat,” to inspire a new generation of rock stars. But after joining the show, Bodi quickly realizes he has bitten off more than he can chew when he becomes an overnight TV personality sensation.

 My Thoughts

Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat is the third chapter of an adorable series about a little dog named Bodi whose living his best life as a rock star. Things have really taken off in his career since the first movie, but now he's starting to get homesick and decides to visit his hometown. Once he gets there he meets a girl band. They don't know about his rock star alter ego, but in order to impress them he decides to join the battle of the bands. The DVD also includes some great behind he scenes footage and music videos.

My kids loved this movie. The characters are colorful and fun, and the story-line was entertaining. There are lots of laughs and toe-tapping songs that you can't get out of your head. The story also reminds us that any one can make their dreams come true if they take the time to work on them. This is a wonderful family film and one I'm sure we'll return to again and again.
