My Thoughts
Elvis a theatrical blockbuster that gives us an up close and personal look at the life of the the King of rock music. In this film, we see how Elvis survived the complicated world of show business. The movie primarily focuses on his career and his often complicated relationship with this manager who is always pushing his to work harder no matter what the cost. It also touches on his relationships including his relationship with Priscilla.
This was a fabulous biography of Elvis's life and Austin Butler captured the character to perfection. Tom Hank was also awesome as the manager. Not only is it a great story, there's also classic rock that will leave you tapping your foot. In addition to the full feature film, the Blu-ray/DVD combo also has lots of bonus footage including lots of background information on Elvis.
