My Thoughts
Gru and the gang are back in Minions, The Rise of Gru , and there is plenty of action. In this show, we learn how Gru and the minions got their start. Even as a twelve-year-old, Gru is plotting to make over the world and he tries to join a group of evil masterminds to help accomplish his goal. When he gets in over his head, the minions rush to his rescue.
My kids just loved this film and all the great new additions to the cast. There was non-stop action, and lots of laughs as well. I enjoyed Minions, The Rise of Gru more than I was expected to! Of course, the minions always steal the show, even if they aren't the title characters this time around. In addition to the feature film, the special edition also includes some great bonus footage including extended scenes and outtakes. The collector's edition also includes 2 mini movies. If you want to grab a copy of Minions, The Rise of Gru for yourself, it is available now in stores nationwide. You can also find it on Amazon. If you have a little minion who loves this movie, the Special Edition Blu-ray would definitely make a great stocking stuffer this upcoming holiday season.
