 Nickelodeon’s critically acclaimed, Emmy® Award-winning Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra animated series are back in a brand-new special collector’s edition: The Ultimate Aang and Korra Blu-ray^TM Collection, arriving on December 7, 2021. The 2-series collection features new outer packaging designed with custom art of Aang and Korra in the Japanese Sumi art style, plus a brand-new bonus disc and eight collectible art cards. Included on the bonus disc are over 80 minutes of exclusive content: a brand-new feature exploring the Auditory Avatarverse with creators Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko and a special recording with newly launched Avatar: Braving the Elements podcast hosts Janet Varney (voice of “Korra”) and Dante Basco (voice of “Zuko,” “General Iroh”).

Created by Konietzko and DiMartino, Avatar: The Last Airbender aired on Nickelodeon from February 2005 through July 2008, garnering both critical and audience acclaim while also winning Annie®, Genesis®, Primetime Emmy®, and Peabody® awards. My Thoughts

The Ultimate Aang and Korra tells the story of two magical teenagers with the ability to bend air and water.  Once the elements worked in Harmony, but the Fire Nation ripped the world apart.  Now try to smother the people who work with other elements. Aang may even be the last of his kind. Together, they work to overthrow the Fire Nation and bring peace and harmony back to their world. The blu-ray set includes:

I've watched this series with my teenage son before, but its was great getting to binge watch all the seasons back to back. The stories are filled with magic, culture and history, and I'm sure we'll watch them time and time again.
