Christmas gifts come in all shapes and sizes. For James (Luke Treadaway), a struggling street musician, a very special one arrives in the form of Bob, a strong-willed stray cat who wanders into James’s tiny flat. Bob enriches James’s life, giving him companionship, purpose, and a large, new audience. My Thoughts
If there are two things I love, its musicians and cats, so this movie won my heart from the get-go. James is a street musician having a difficult time. He feels like nothing is going right for him until a stray cat wanders into his apartment. With Bob the cat by his side, he builds a new audience. When animal control ties to take Bob away, the entire community fights to keep them together.
A Gift from Bob is a sweet movie with endearing characters and a interesting story-line. My entire family enjoyed watching this film filmed with holiday spirit. Both the animals and the humans did a great job in their roles, and the settings were very realistic. This is a an adorable movie and a great choice for family movie night.
