My Thoughts


Backstrom is an exciting crime drama series set in Sweden. In centers around a detective named Evert Backstrom. He is one of the best cops in Sweden and even stars as an expert on crime television. He has a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and when a challenging case comes along, he's ready to face the challenge no matter what the costs. This first season includes six episodes. 


1- Backstrom turns his nose up at a robbery case, but when his neighbor finds a skull, he smells a challenge.


2- Somehow it seems a murder victim was killed twice. When Backstrom wants to investigate it, the prosecutor shoots him down.


3- Refusing to give up the case of the twice-murdered woman, Backstrom travels to Thailand.


4- Colleagues ignore Backstrom's theories. The prosecutor tries to get them fired and someone is leaking info.


5- Even after bring suspended, Backstrom keeps investigating. He has a new apprentice to help him uncover the clues.


6- Backstrom is back on the case and watching out for whoever betrayed him.


This series is based on a series of novels written by Leif Persson who is a real-life criminologist. With him brainstorming the storyline, you get a great series filled with realistic crime and lots of intrigue. In addition, the characters have unique personality and have you rooting for them to find the bad guy even though Evert sometimes gets on your nerves.
