My Thoughts
The Sounds is a thrilling series set in New Zealand. It centers around a couple named Mary and Tom. They hope to get away from their controlling families to start a new life, but before they even get started, Tom vanishes in a kayak accident. This first season includes eight exciting episodes.
1 - Maggie joins her husband in a small New Zealand town where's he's started a fish business. When he goes out kayaking, he never returns.
2- Find the Money - The search for Tom is declared a recovery mission and Maggie is heartbroken. Meanwhile, Tom hides in a old warehouse, wounded and with limited supplies.
3 - Not Tom - Photos of another woman are found on Tom's phone, and his hideout is almost discovered.
4 - Playing the Odds - Maggie has feelings for Jack and Tom gets assistance from a bushman.
5- Not for Sale - Maggie gets more bad news about Tom and Jack makes a surprising discovery.
6- Maggie confronts Tom and the couple must face their mistakes.
7- Maggie goes back to down and Jack delivers from bad news about Ryan.
8 - Make Amends - Maggie wants to leave, but Tom has other ideas.
This was a really exciting series set upon the thrilling backdrop of New Zealand. I can't wait to see what happens in the next season. If you'd like to purchase a copy of this amazing DVD series for yourself, you can find it in stores nationwide or online at Amazon.
