PBS KIDS: 15 Sports Stories

Strap on those soccer cleats, grab your bike helmets and head outside for fun and games – it's time for 15 Sports Stories! In Arthur, Kate appears to be hypnotized by the soccer game on television! Then, in Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Dad Tiger gives Daniel his old bicycle.

Strap on those soccer cleats, grab your bike helmets and head outside for fun and games – it's time for 15 Sports Stories! In Arthur, Kate appears to be hypnotized by the soccer game on television! The soccer fun continues with Elinor Wonders Why when Elinor and Ari see how good their friends are at the game. Then, in Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Dad Tiger gives Daniel his old bicycle! This action-packed DVD also features Molly and her friends from Molly of Denali raising money to attend a regional basketball tournament, the gang from Nature Cat playing in a volleyball championship match and much, much more!

My Thoughts

This DVD offers a great selection of shows all about different sports. Each one will teach kids about team work and being a good sport along with some of their favorite PBS Characters. There are ten different stories from shows including:

Arthur
Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood
Elinor Wonders Why
Hero Elementary
Let's Go Luna!
Molly of Denali
Nature Cat
Pinkalicious & Peterrific
Wild Kratts
Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum

My kids really enjoyed this DVD set.  They like seeing different characters instead of all the same people show and after show. The especially enjoyed the ocean theme. A mix DVD like this is a great choice for long car rides. Grab a copy on Amazon or PBS.org.

Oh, that's pretty interesting! I'm a huge fan of sports, and I'd like to get something like that for my son, so he'll get interested in sports. Well, I always watch baseball matches and check the MLB odds today because I like to place bets, it's quite entertaining for me, and he seems to be interested in it as well, so I hope he'd like to get into sports professionally.
