A House Divided follows the direct descendants of Letty Sanders, an enslaved woman who after arriving in Los Angeles in 1821, grew to become the wealthiest Black woman in the newly formed city. Centering on the present-day members of the highly esteemed Sanders family, Cameran Sanders Sr. (Hilton-Jacobs) has raised his three children in opulent wealth. After the sudden passing of his wife amidst a brewing government investigation into the business dealings of the family-owned bank, a new woman, Carissa Walker (McKinney), emerges from the shadows determined to be the next Mrs. Cameran Sanders. As secrets are uncovered and scandals emerge, the Sanders family will be forced to band together for the sake of their survival or risk the ultimate demise of their long-standing legacy.

Recently renewed for a third season and currently in production, A House Divided, Season 3 will premiere in December 2020.

My Thoughts

A House Divided is an exciting series that follows a descendants of a former slave who have  become one of the wealthiest black families in Los Angeles. Like most wealthy families, the Sanders are surrounded by secrets and scandal. Season 2 includes six thrilling episodes. 

Now You're In -  Cameron Jr. goes after Carissa. Torrance is recovering while hiding a secret. Cameron Sr. comes back from Panama.

Step Into It - Peter has to face his past. Cameron Jr. has to face up to trying to kill Carissa. Nigel wants to take out Cameron Sr. 

Why So Surprised -  Triva wants to get with Torrance. The arrival of Alexis and summer causes chaos. Auntie Mae reveals a shocking family secret.

Need the Money - Carissa walks in on something shocking. Alexis wants to be the new matriarch. Secrets from Brittany's past are revealed.

Willing to Sacrifice - Summer is losing control. Nigel reveals Cameron Sr. secrets to his son. Alexis is becoming a bigger threat.

Legacy - Alexis and Cameron Sr. are getting closer, much to Carissa's displeasure. Cameron Jr. decides to pursue his own dreams.
