My Thoughts
Dead Still is a new series that centers around a post-mortem photographer named Brock Blennerhasset. What starts out as taking pictures soon takes another turn. Brock finds himself at the center of a series of murders. There's a serial killer in Dublin who's taking pictures of people before they die, and Brock will team up with a detective to help bring them down.
Photochemsitry - Someone steals one of Brock's photo plates and a gravedigger helps him find it.
Development - Brock gets stuck at a possible haunted house after photographing a drowning victim.
Daguerreotype - More of Brock's camera equipment goes missing, and so has his assistant.
Camera Obscura - Brock's assistant meets some of his family, and the gang gets involved in a seance.
Snuff - A body shows up after the seance, and Brock worries he may be a suspect when he discovers disturbing photo evidence.
Only Memories Remain - Brock may know who created the album and staying quiet may have put someone he cared about in danger.
I've always been fascinated with post-mortem photography, so I was excited to watch this series. It definitely didn't disappoint. There's a chilling murder mystery and some interesting history.
