My Thoughts

I grew up watching Masterpiece movies with my family. They always bring to life amazing historical films you can watch in the comfort of your own home. Beecham House is a mini series which centers around a man named Beechum. He was a soldier but wants to start a new life without violence. He goes to work for a rich master in a beautiful house. The entire staff is shocked when the master has a baby who is half Indian. There are secrets, betrayal, and murder, and what quickly turns into a historical soap opera.

This is a really amazing film that gives you a glimpse into life in India in 1795.  The costumes and sets are all breathtaking and historically accurate. They make you feel like you stepped back in time. The story-line is fast paced and after some road bumps, teaches that second chances are possible.  If you want to get a copy of this amazing series on DVD, you can find it in stores nationwide or online at Amazon.
