My Thoughts

The Peanut Butter Falcon is an adorable family movie that centers around a young man named Zak who has Down syndrome. All his life, he dreamed of being a professional wrestler, but no one believed he could do it. One day, he runs away from the nursing home where he lives, determined to make his dreams come true. Along the way, he runs into a con artist who finds he can't resist helping Zak. When one of the employees from the home comes looking for him, she gets roped into his fantasy, too. Soon, the threesome embark on an amazing adventure together.

I really enjoyed this movie. I found it especially touching because I grew up with a family member who had Down syndrome. It was great seeing Zak following his dreams and encouraging others  to find their true path along the way. This was a really fun movie the whole family can enjoy together. If you'd like to order a copy of the Blu-ray for yourself, it's available in stores nationwide. You can also find it online at Amazon.
