My Thoughts

Detectorists is a comedy that centers around two friends who have a slight obsession with metal detecting.  Andy and Lance spend all of their time looking for treasure and Andy's girlfriend doesn't like it. This DVD set includes every episode ever filmed plus fun bonus material. Episodes include:

Season 1 

Episode One - Tensions flare between Becky & Andy when the team goes on a treasure hunt in the English Countryside.  The addition of a new student named Sophie only makes things worse.

Episode Two- While Sophie is doing research, Lance & Andy compete with a pair of rival detectorists. 

 Episode Three- Lance and Andy enlist the help of an ex-cop to get the rogue treasure hunters out of their way.

 Episode Four- Andy is promoted to president of the Danebury Metal Detecting Club.

 Episode Five -  Andy and Becky's relationship gets buried even deeper as the detectorists struggle with their rivals. 

 Episode Six - When they find bones instead of gold there's a mystery to solve. And Andy must choose between love and his favorite hobby.

Season 2 

Episode 1 - Andy is still unemployed and is worried about providing for his family. Lance is still smitten with his ex. The club is hired to help look for a WWII plane.

Episode 2 - Lance finally gets a date. Becky is considering volunteering is Africa. The search for the plane goes on.

Episode 3 - Sophie follows Lance on his date. The plane might be on the mayor's property, but he wants something in exchange for searching.

Episode 4 - Andy has a job interview.  They team blackmails the mayor into letting them search their land. There may be something shady about the crash.

Episode 5 - Andy gets the job, Peter claims to give up on the crashed plane.  Andy & Lance find a gold coin in Peter's wallet.

Episode 6 - Lance is afraid he lost his daughter. Andy must make a big decision. A big rally at the plane sight has some unexpected visitors. 

Season 3

1- Andy and Becky move in with her mom, but there's a lot of tension. Lance's daughter is causing stress in his relationship as well.

2- Andy & Lance find some great stuff but run into their rivals. Toni wants Lance to get hypnotized to get over his seasickness. 

3- Lance and Andy have to fight their rivals to get the best finds. Andy wants to give up on his job, and Lance has an unexpected visitor. 

4- Lance tries to chase down the bird that took his gold coin. Andy gets s new job, and Toni runs into Lance's ex-wife.

5- The guy's favorite field is being turned into a solar farm. Kate tries to mend fences with Lance.

6- Kate movies into Toni's boathouse. Andy & Lance head out for one last hunt in the field.
