My Thoughts

Scandal is an an exciting political thriller series that centers around a women named Olivia Pope. The series began with her becoming emotionally entangled with the president, Fitz.  By Season 6, Fitz is no longer the president and the couple are beginning to settle down. Then Frankie Vargas, the new president is murdered, and things are turned upside down for Olivia again. Eventually the murderer is uncovered, and a new president is elected.  In Season 7, we pick up with Mellie Grant  becoming the first female president, but Hillie is not free from scandal either. She is soon accused of trying to have her own vice president killed.

This was a great series, and I'm sorry to see it coming to an end. It was always packed with political intrigue and spicy romance. Olivia is a great character, who never takes any junk from anyone. Even when her fight for power leads to betrayal, I still found myself rooting for her. Getting two seasons in one box set is also a great value. You're getting 34 episodes which will provide you with hours of scandalous entertainment. If you want to grab a copy of this amazing finale, you can find this DVD set in stores nationwide or online at Amazon.
