Tangled Before Ever After

After all those years stuck in a tower, everyone’s favorite “barefoot princess” (Mandy Moore) yearns to make up for lost time. With the help of her true love Eugene (Zachary Levi), pals Pascal and Maximus and daring new friend Cassandra, Rapunzel postpones her wedding and royal duties to defy danger and boldly explore life beyond Corona’s walls. Sparkling with fun, adventure and music from the legendary Alan Menken, Tangled Before Ever After is a magical movie event!!

My Thoughts

Tangled Before Ever After is the tale of Rapunzel after she escapes from her tower. Even though she loves her man, she isn't quite ready to settle down into a royal life. She wants to explore and have some fun first. Along with her friend Cassandra, she faces danger head-on beyond the city limits of Corona. She may get into a few scrapes along way, but this shoe-less princess knows how to take care of herself.

Tangled is one of our favorite movies, and my family was thrilled to see the story continued. Even though the fact that her hair is long again didn't really go along with the original film, it just wouldn't be the same without Rapunzel swinging around by her hair, so I am glad they kept it that way.  It was awesome to see Eugene and Maximus returning to the cast, and the new addition of Cassandra was a great addition so Rapunzel can have some girl time.  We are now really pumped about the series that will be airing on the Disney channel. We have it all ready to record on our DVR so we don't miss a single episode.
