My Pretend Place - Imaginative Fun
My Pretend Place offers a fun service that opens up a whole new world of imagination. Does your son want to be an astronaut? Does your daughter fantasize about the world of fea? Do your children dream of going on an African Safari? My Pretend Place helps bring these dreams to life with their amazing subscription boxes.
We got to test out their astronaut box, and it was a huge hit with all my kids. I couldn't believe all the great things that were packed in there. There was everything an astronaut in training could need. Here's a little about each item.
Astronaut Handbook - This beautifully illustrated picture book teaches kids how to become an astronaut. It talks about the different types of training and even shows them what an space toilet looks like!
Space Ice Cream - Ever wonder what the space men eat? We got to taste some freeze dried ice cream. The texture is a little weird, but it definitely tasted like real ice cream. My little guy shared this with his big brother.
Space Suit - Of course an astronaut box wouldn't be complete without a space suit. This costume is very well made and will gets lots of wear. My son has been running around in it nonstop, pretending big boxes are space shuttles and that our dog is an alien. When he's wearing this, we are only allowed to address him as "Space Nicky".
Peel & Press by Number - My daughter had a great time making this for her little brother. She matched the stickers to the numbers to create a beautiful picture of the planets that we were able to hang on the wall.
That wraps up the Astronaut Box, but there are several others to pick from including Fire Fighters, Fairies, Ninjas, Pirates, Princesses, and more. No matter what your child is into, you sure to find something that will let their imaginations soar to new levels.
We've reviewed tons of subscription boxes over the years, but this one was my children's favorite. They have many different options available. For $50, you can get a full dress up kit, but there are more modest options. For only $15 a month, you can have two fun activities sent to a child you love. No matter what option you choose, you will be encouraging imaginative play.
