Keep Your Smile Healthy with Colgate Enamel Health

From the Company

Your enamel is your first layer of defense for your teeth. It's also the strongest substance in the human body. So why should you pay attention to enamel? Daily life — the consumption of sugary food and drinks — can be rough on tooth enamel and can lead to acid production. Prolonged exposure of enamel to these acids can demineralize and soften enamel, making it rough. It's easier for germs to stick to rough, acid-softened enamel.

A trip to your hygienist can help. You may not realize it, but a typical visit to the hygienist can do more than just clean your teeth. Your hygienist can polish your teeth, which helps smooth your enamel so germs are less likely to stick.

Now you can help maintain the work your hygienist does between visits with Colgate® Enamel Health Toothpaste. Replenish and polish for stronger, healthier enamel.

My Thoughts

Loosing enamel is one of those things that happen as you get older. I noticed it even before the dentist pointed it out. My teeth started to look almost translucent in spots. I just didn't know what the problem was. It's not just about having a pretty smile either. Enamel is the first layer of your teeth and if it's not properly maintained, it's easier to damage your teeth.  Colgate Enamel Health is specially formulated to help maintain healthy enamel and keep your smile looking great.

There are two different versions of the Enamel Health Toothpaste. The first is the whitening variety. The Clean Mint flavor leaves your breath minty fresh and your teeth sparkling white. The other variety is just as refreshing but also stops sensitivity in its tracks. To go along with the toothpaste, there are also Enamel Health toothbrushes. The bristles on these are softer than other bristles so you don't rub your enamel away when you brush.  I found that these products worked great, and after a few weeks of use, I've noticed a definite improvement in my smile. The enamel has been replenished and I no longer notice any transparency.

I like their products. I'm leaning more towards toothpastes that do not have fluoride in them these days. There hasn't been studies done on fluoride since the 70s.

I tend to opt for colgate products because the price is reasonable and they are good quality.

This sounds like it would work, I have bad GERD so no matter how much I brush I have problems. Hopefully this would polish out the bad areas. Thanks for sharing.
