When Calls the Heart - Second Chances DVD

Elizabeth and Jack struggle to get back to where their relationship was before Billy Hamilton got between them, while, Elizabeth works to find a solution for one of her older students, BO GRADY, who is having trouble reading. Meanwhile, Abigail goes to Gowen with her proposal to reopen the abandoned cafĂ© in town. The whole town of Coal Valley reacts to the fact that Adam Miller has returned to Coal Valley without one of his legs, as Adam struggles to adjust to his new life with a disability. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is informed that she is responsible for the annual production of the Coal Valley Founder’s Day Play and scrambles to begin preparations.

My thoughts:

I love When Calls The Heart Series, and Second Chances is just as good as the previous ones.

It's heartwarming to see Elizabeth and Abigail become such good friends. Abigail had lost her son and husband in the mining accident.  We also get to meet Adam Miller in this episode.  He is the only survivor of the mining accident.

Elizabeth has a student, Bo Grady whom she tries to help with his reading, which he struggles with.  And of course, Jack is still trying to win Elizabeth over.

Michael Landon Jr. did yet another superb job on this series.  Great movie for the whole family to watch.
