Back to School Must Have - Night Owl Paper Goods - Review & #Giveaway

 My Thoughts

I love journals. I keep a diary of my day to day life. I have a journal filled with my dreams. I even carry around a little notebook at all times in case I think of a good line for one of my books. Because of my obsession with journals, I am always looking for unique and fancy note books to add to my collection. My daughter has inherited my love of writing and journals and has a collection of her own. With her birthday coming up, I wanted to find her a journal she would be able to keep and treasure forever. At Night Owl Paper Goods, I found  journals that are some of the cutest I have seen to date. But the most important factor about these journals and all the paper goods at Night Owl is that they are made from eco-friendly, sustainably harvested wood and 100% recycled paper.

The Dolan Owl Pocket Notebook from the Dolan Geiman Collaboration we received to review is absolutely stunning. The cover has an adorable owl painted onto the sturdy wood cover in vibrant colors. These covers are not going to rip or tear easily.  It's perfect for my teenage daughter, but would be nice for grown ups too. When you open the book you will find lovely parchment style paper. This book is so beautiful, it needs a truly special use. My daughter will probably save it for her poetry or short stories. It even comes in a cute hemp storage bag to help keep it safe.

In addition to the notebook, we also received one of their beautiful bookmarks in a matching owl pattern. I always go through tons of bookmarks because they get worn out or tear easily. Because this one is made of thin wood, it holds up much better than other bookmarks. Even when I took in the beach for eight hours, the damp air didn't damage it or cause the ends to curl.
