Back to School Essentials for Teens and Tweens from @Kohls # #Kohls101

It seems like only yesterday that the kids got out of school, but in just a few short weeks, they'll be going back. I have three kids heading to school this year and they range in age from four to thirteen, so I had a lot of shopping to do. This weekend, my kids and I took a drive to the shopping outlets. Of course, my first stop was Kohl's. It was an hour drive, but well worth the extra effort, especially when we saw all the fun Back-to-School items already out on display.

My teenage daughter headed right for the clothes. She adores Kohl's because they have all the styles she loves, from preppy to flirty to sporty. So she can dress each day according to her mood. We must have spent hours going through the racks and found tons of great deals on jeans, leggings, sweat shirts, camis and so much more.

In addition to clothing, she also scored some great accessories. She loved their selection of book bags and shoes. I know this teen will be heading back to school in style in the fall.

My tween son doesn't enjoy shopping quite as much as his older sister, but Kohl's had a section of boy's clothing that actually got his attention. The long sleeve Minecraft tees were right up his alley and he also loved the hoodies with the built in masks. I think we got one of each style they had! I was really excited to see their sizes went up to an 18 for boys. I've been having a hard time finding clothes for my son, who is not quite big enough for men's sizes, but was too small for the boys clothes in 16, which was the largest size available everywhere else I've looked. Kohl's had clothing that fit him perfectly with just a little room to grow.  Plus, we were able to find all the little odds and ends that aren't as much fun, but are still a necessity, like socks and underwear.

This year, Kohl's has an even bigger perk. For the first time ever, they've teamed up with Office Max to make your back to school shopping even more convenient. You can find pencils, erasers, note books, binders and everything else you can possibly need. These supplies are available in-store only and can be found sprinkled throughout the aisles. I love the convenience of being able to grab both my kid's clothes and school supplies in the same store! Kohl's just got even more convenient!

So what did we find on our shopping trip to get us ready for the new school year? More than I can list in one post, but for just these two kids, we got jeans, shirts, leggings, binders, notebooks, pencils, pens, highlighters, Nike sneakers, tons of shirts, socks, school bags, pencil cases, highlighters and more. I think after this, we have all our back to school shopping pretty much wrapped up.  As an added bonus, Kohl's was offering their fabulous Kohl's Cash deal. For every $50 we spent, we got $10 back that works just like cash in the store. There is no minimum purchase requirement. You know I'll be heading back for some more goodies now that I have my Kohl's cash to spend!
