May Gourmet Sweet Box from OrangeGlad

OrangeGlad was one of my favorite dessert subscription boxes, so I was excited to try them out again this month. The May box was no less delectable than the April box, and if anything, I'm even more addicted to this service than I was before.  If you missed my post last month, OrangeGlad offers a unique subscription box service that allows you to sample a variety delicious treats each month. With the weather warming up, I was happy to see that this month's box had a cooling pack inside it to make sure all the goodies didn't melt. Inside the box were five delicious treats that will have your mouth watering. Here's a little bit about each of the items:

Baking Betty's - There were two different types of cookies from Baking Betty's included in this package--their award winning S'more cookie and their Peanut Butter Cup Cookies. Both were nice and chewy with big hunks of chocolate and marshmallows. They are large enough that one is a satisfying indulgence.

Cici's Italian Butterhorns - Oh my goodness! These brought me right back to my childhood in South Philly. There was a little bakery where my grandfather used to buy cookies just like these. I never thought I'd experience them again, but these butterhorns are fresh made and delicious just like the ones he used to get at that bakery. They are light and crispy and packed with cinnamon flavor. Perfect with a cup of coffee.

Welsh Cakes - These are a cross between a cookie, a scone, and a pancake and perfect for breakfast as well as a late night snack. They are loaded with real pieces of cranberries and are a wonderful way to experience the wholesomeness of the Welsh culture and a fun personal gift. 

Fine Sconehedge Baking Company - Last, but certainly not least, we have a gluten-free brownie. This was so rich and delicious I found it hard to believe it really had no gluten. The chocolate is extra dark and fudgey. This was my favorite from this month's selections. Love the name of the company too! Very unique gourmet dessert gift!

I loved every single one of the treats in this month's box. I also love how they include a little insert with info on all the companies so you can order more of your favorites.
