Why Holiday Pringles?
Pringles is offering two limited edition holiday flavors – Cinnamon & Sugar and Pecan Pie – available nationwide in early November.
Following the 2012 limited edition flavors, this year Pringles will be bringing back the Cinnamon & Sugar variety and introducing new Pecan Pie – two flavors that are sure to be a deliciously fun addition to any occasion. According to a recent survey commissioned by Pringles, participants noted that food takes on an added importance during the holidays. Other findings include:
· 25% of respondents 18-24 would prefer to outsource the cooking and baking responsibilities during the holidays, making Pringles holiday flavors a perfect bake-free option.
· Putting up outdoor decorations is the least favorite holiday tradition. 43% of people said they would outsource this responsibility if given the chance.
· 44% of people most often sign up for bringing dessert to a potluck dinner, while 18% most often sign up for appetizers.
· Nearly a third of respondents said they would rather be known as the worst gift-giver, sloppiest holiday party guest or last-minute shopper than be considered a bad cook/baker.
Our Thoughts:
Not sure if these flavors are going to curb your holiday munchies? Well, just give them a try. The saying with these limited time chips are the same, "Once you pop, you just can't stop!"
I was iffy with trying these, but decided to branch out and give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised.
They really do taste like they say! Pecan pie really tastes like a pie, only thing missing is cutting that slice still warm with ice cream on top. The cinnamon and sugar reminds me of a tortilla fried and topped generously!
Hurry and go get these before they disappear! I am impressed with these, and will be purchasing them next holiday season for sure!
