Holiday Gift Guide - Minnie Mouse Bow-tique Flipping Fun Kitchen & Dress Gift Set From Kohl's

This season, Kohl's wants to make all your holiday wishes come true. They have come up with some hot items that kids will love too see under their tree. My favorite toy this year is the Minnie Mouse Bow-tique Flipping Fun Kitchen & Dress Gift Set. I have a little girl who wants to be a chef just like her daddy and who also loves Minnie Mouse, so this was the perfect choice for her.

To start with, the kitchen set is like getting two gifts in one because it comes with an adorable Minnie Mouse Costume that should fit toddler and preschool girls. My daughter wears a 5T and it was a perfect fit, but would also work on smaller girls, especially if they wear it over their regular clothing. The costume comes with a sequined dress and matching headband complete with mouse ears.

Assembly of the kitchen was super easy. The only tool we needed was a screwdriver. Most of the pieces pop right into place, but the shelves inside the oven will need to be screwed in. My husband's hands were a little too big to manage it, but I accomplished it with no problems. We had the whole thing finished, including placing the decorative stickers, in less than half an hour.

Once complete, both my younger children had a blast playing with the kitchen set. It comes with everything you need including spoons, spatulas, mouse shaped cookies, cupcakes and salt and pepper shakers. The large appliances include a stove and refrigerator that have plenty of room inside for storing their play food.  One of the really interesting features is that a few areas have duel abilities. There is a sink that converts to a cutting board with a touch of a button and a mixer that turns into a dish rack. I thought this was a really clever idea. It gives the kids more play options without taking up as much space as some larger kitchen sets. This kitchen is a great option for people with apartments or small homes because it doesn't take up nearly as much space as most play kitchens.

Of course my daughter's favorite part of the kitchen is the interaction with Minnie Mouse. Not only is there an almost life-size Minnie peeking out at her, but Minnie also talks to them when they press the buttons on the stove. Minnie says things like "Don't forget to flip the pancakes" and "Good job!"  It also makes sizzling sounds just like a real oven.  Oh, and we also loved the little recipe cards on the side that you can flip around. There are really tons of cool features on this kitchen, and right now you can get it at Kohl's for the discounted price of only $103.99.
