My Thoughts

I grew up with my grandparents and was raised on tales of World War II. My grandfather served in Europe and he met my grandmother in a hospital after he was injured in the line of duty. This documentary brings to life on the small screen many of the stories he told me. This series leads you through some of the most dangerous missions. It includes original footage of the soldiers as well as dramatic recreations. Learn about warfare and some of the narrow escapes of Hitler before his final defeat. Watching this series will give you a new appreciation of the sacrifices made and the suffering that was endured. It also gives you a chance to acknowledge the heros. This is a wonderfully plotted documentary that is so captivating, you'll want to watch all thirteen episodes back to back.

If you love a good documentary as much as I do, especially one that is a mythology lesson, than this is the box set for you. You can order NARROW ESCAPES OF WORLD WAR II  for only $79.99 at Acorn Media.
