Our Thoughts
If you liked the online game, you're going to love the portable DS version of Poptropica. In this game, you will set out across three different islands to help rebuild the Poptropia Museum. You start out by creating your very own avatar. You can dress him or her up in a variety of stylish clothes to give him his own unique personality. Along the way, you will find and collect a variety of cool gadgets that will help you in your quest, and as you go along you will unlock fun mini games that add a whole new dimension of fun. My kids found the different levels they have completed so far to be challenging, but not too difficult for grade school age children. They had no trouble mastering the controls, and even my three year old could take part in some of the easier games. Rated E for everyone, Poptropica is a fun game that contains no violence and that the whole family can enjoy.
