Cornbread Crisps snacks from Farmer's Pantry
Meet Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps Makes Debut
Proudly Grown and Sourced In America
New Snack Food Company Changing The Shape of Snacking
Just In Time for Back To School, Tailgating, Holiday To SuperBowl
Farmer’s Pantry, the proudly American new snack brand, debuts the first in its line of exciting new snacks: Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps. Farmer’s Pantry snacks are a revolutionary product - the first cornbread cracker snack to hit the market. Perfect to “feed your hunger,” these snacks are great for kids and adults alike as they offer a satisfying, healthy and natural snack that is as innovative as it is delicious. Farmer’s Pantry snacks are always made in America with ingredients you would only find in a farmer’s pantry and always grown on U.S. family farms. These delicious snacks are perfect for back to school, tailgaiting, holiday and SuperBowl parties as well as great for travel, hikes or to pack in your gym bag or purse.Visit www.farmerspantry.farm for more information.
Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps, available in Original, Jalapeno and Honey-Butter flavors, are a crispy, savory snack that tastes as mouth-wateringly delicious as the first bite of a slice of corn bread or corn muffin. Made from fresh corn and other whole grains grown on American farms, these crisps are sure to appeal to discriminating snackers across the country.
Farmer’s Pantry snacks are hitting the market at exactly the right time to make a difference. According to a recent 490 person Nielsen poll, most said they "enjoyed" eating all the time. After enjoyment, the second most common reason Americans cite for eating a snack in the past 30 days is "to satisfy hunger” in between meals.1Another 30,000 person Nielsen poll cited that 90 percent of people surveyed said that they snack at least once a day, and a full 45 percent of people actually replace at least one regular meal a day with snacks.2 And finally, according to analysis by Euromonitor, sales of snacks account for 40% of the $370 billion U.S. packaged food market and are set to grow 2% annually through 2019, thanks in large part to millennials who eat more snacks than any other group.3
“Farmers Pantry Cornbread Crisps are truly the best thing since sliced bread!” said Josh Chaitovsky, co-founder and CEO of Farmer’s Pantry. “We believe it’s high-time for snacks to resolve the trade-off between being wholesome, made from natural ingredients and delicious. But to be truly sustainable, we also pledge to give back to our American farmers, and to hungry Americans in need, by supporting important charities such as Veterans Farm, Farm Aid, and The Family Farm charities.”
Farmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps are available in Original, Jalapeno and Honey-Butter flavors, in two sizes: 6-ounce bags of regular size Cornbread Crisps and 2-ounce bags of bite-sized Cornbread Crisps. Perfect for supermarkets, mass market retailers, airport stores, and convenience stores, onlineFarmer’s Pantry Cornbread Crisps are available in 12 per case, and will retail in the $3.99 range for 6oz bags, and under $2.00 for 2oz bags.
Farmer’s Pantry creates hearty, tasty American snacks from freshly grown vegetables sourced on local American farms. Cornbread Crisps are the first of their incredible line of innovative, healthy snacks that are sure to “feed your hunger.” Visit Farmer’s Pantry online at www.farmerspantry.farm.

My Thoughts
I'm a southern girl, but didn't grow up eating a lot of cornbread because my parents were northerners and never really ate it. When I became an adult I tried it in different varieties and have found a few recipes I really enjoy. I looked forward to trying these cornbread crisps from Farmer's Pantry.
I got to try 3 flavors: honey butter, original, and jalapeño. I didn't expect for jalapeño to be my favorite because I'm not a fan of jalapeños, but this was really good. There wasn't much of a kick, so don't expect spicy. The jalapeños just seemed to add a unique flavor that the other two flavors didn't have, causing me to gravitate toward that flavor more when enjoying Farmer's Pantry for a snack.
I liked the honey butter favor too. It gave a sweet flavor and almost reminded me of sweet cornbread. I think if I could have warmed these crisps up, the flavor to sweet cornbread would have been spot on. I also enjoyed the original flavor too. It was slightly salty, but not like when eating chips.
I liked these crisps. The texture and thickness. Perfect for snacking on when you want something crunchy but could also be used with a favorite dip.

A yummy snack from Popcorn, Indiana
Popcorn, Indiana, , innovator of all-natural popcorn snacks, offers consumers whole grain popcorn and popcorn-based treats that are both non-GMO and gluten-free, without compromising taste.
Connect with Popcorn, Indiana
My Thoughts
Popcorn, Indiana was really good popcorn. It's pre-popped and ready to enjoy. We tried the white cheddar, movie theater popcorn, kettle corn, and pink Himalayan salt. There are many other flavors to choose from as well. I was surprised by the whole line. They even had popcorn for the health conscious person.
My favorite was the pink Himalayan salt. I'd actually never tried anything that was made with this kind of salt. This popcorn was the saltiest and I loved it. I didn't want to share it with my family. I'm ashamed to admit that I probably ate almost the whole bag.
We enjoyed all the flavors we tried. Each piece was perfectly popped. No seeds left to bite into and hurt your teeth. Very pleased and happy with this snack, and we will be enjoying it again for sure.

Our Thoughts
Chicago Vegan Foods generously sent me all 3 Dandies marshmallow packages to try - oh yum! I have seen them in stores before but hadn't yet tried them. With fall's cooling temps, it's the perfect time to try them out with some baked goods.
Now, we follow the paleo diet here - and true, marshmallows aren't exactly paleo, LOL, but hey. A girl's gotta have a treat every now and then! I haven't rice crispy treats in 6 years . . . well, can't exactly have the rice crispies, so I found a recipe online that called for almonds and macadamia nuts instead. I may not have eaten rice crispy treats in at least 6 years, and it's been much, much longer since I made them. Of course, I only remembered to grab the ingredient list (1 c. almonds, 1 c. macadamia nuts, 1c. marshmallows, 1 Tbsp butter)- after all how hard can making the treats be? I remembered you melt the butter (I used a combination of unrefined coconut oil and palm shortening) and the marshmallows together. It takes 10 of the big Dandies Vegan Marshmallows to make a cup, by the way! Haha, I counted as I stuffed them in the measuring cup.
It seemed to take a long time for the marshmallows to melt and once they did, it was really tough to get the nuts to mix in with the melted marshmallows. I think I should have used a double boiler instead. I ended up kneading the nuts into the melted marshmallows - got that to work.
I keep meaning to try the Dandies Minis vegan marshmallows in with a cup of pumpkin spice latte - here I like to use Bengal Spice tea along with a Pumpkin Spice tea (I like my tea on the strong side), combined with honey and coconut milk - these would be a perfect addition - except it's been really warm the last few days so I'll wait until it's a bit cooler. I also have a fabulous recipe for grain-free gingersnaps (aka Grandma's molasses cookies) - I need to make a batch and then melt some of these pumpkin minis in between 2 cookies like an oatmeal cream pie, only with gingersnaps.
I keep meaning to try these all these recipes with the marshmallows . . . but darn it, these are SO freakin' tasty I'm snacking on them straight! I'm so glad to have a marshmallow alternative that is corn, dye, and artificial flavor free!
P.S. The dog loves them too ~ she tries to steal them right out of my hand! Terrible beggar, she is. :)

Satisfy Night Time Cravings with NightFood
For new moms, late nights and new schedules can throw off eating routines. For many, late night snacking becomes a common event, and it’s easy to grab quick, unhealthy foods. I thought you might have interest in this great tasty solution that helps with cravings without sacrificing a healthy diet.
NightFood
is a unique health bar that’s specially formulated to satisfy nighttime
cravings in a better way, on fewer calories, to support better sleep.
With less sugar than a banana, it’s an easy choice that satisfies a
sweet tooth craving without the guilt. Also a great nighttime snack
alternative for kids!
NightFood
gives people permission to snack at night in a guilt-free way.
Research shows that we tend to make our least healthy food choices as we
get closer to bedtime. Approximately 70% of us snack at night on a
regular basis, and the most popular choices are cookies, chips, ice
cream, and candy. No wonder this snacking causes weight gain, impaired
sleep, and GUILT! NightFood provides consumers a better option. Each
NightFood bar is specially formulated to satisfy nighttime cravings in a
better way, on fewer calories, to support better sleep. Cravings are
going to come…how we deal with them makes a big difference.
My Thoughts
Is there anything more annoying than when you're stomach starts to rumble right before you go to sleep? It's hard to get a good night's sleep when you're hungry, but when you're tired you may not have the energy to whip up something healthy. It's easy to reach for high-calorie snacks like chips or pretzels. But eating the wrong things before bed can lead to weight gain, so it's important to choose wisely when you snack right before bedtime.
NightFood is a delicious treat that was designed with night time snacking in mind. It's a health bar that's specially formulated to help fill you up before bed without all those unwanted calories. Best of all, it comes in such delicious flavors, you won't feel like you're making any sacrifices. I tried two different flavors--Cookies n' Cream and Midnight Chocolate Crunch. Both of them were a delicious treat that not only satisfied my hunger but my craving for something rich and chocolatey. After eating them, they won't feel heavy in your stomach like other foods. You'll be able to sleep easily without waiting to digest.
I absolutely loved the NightFood dietary supplements, and my teen daughter was just as impressed with them. They are a great way to get a good night's sleep with a full and happy tummy.

My Thoughts
As I get older, I find myself wanting to eat healthier, be it less carbs, less fat, or less gluten. Who knows what goes in half the stuff you buy in the store...really.
I definitely miss some things, especially cookies, so I was eager to try these new baking mixes from Immaculate Baking.
I'd love it if my kids could be happy living on fruits and vegetables, but let's face it. They're kids. Sometimes they are going to want something sweet. Something like cake and brownies. Its easy enough to find them in my local market, but most box mixes are filled with ingredients. The cake mixes at Immaculate Baking were just what I was looking for.
We tried out of chocolate cookies and my kids enjoyed them. The cocoa is subtle, but that's to be expected. The consistency was difficult to work with though. The lack of flower in these makes the batter very sticky and rolling them into balls made quite a mess.
Of
course, taste is also an important factor. When it comes to cake, I not
only want to have it and eat it too. I also want to enjoy it. And the
cake mixes from Immaculate Baking
are awesome! I got to try out both the brownie and the cake
mixes. Thay are all super easy to prepare. You
just have to add in a few ingredients like eggs, oil, butter or water.
Then mix and bake, and you're done. I hate cooking, but these were easy and even my kids were able to help with no
problems. The cakes and brownies came out light and fluffy. They cooked
evenly, and tasted great! All in all, a great baking experience.

Our Thoughts
I have always been a fan of Super Pretzels. My husband and I prefer a few soft pretzels over popcorn if we decide to sit and watch a movie at night. My kids love them too and the cheese-filled have always been one of their favorites. So I had no doubt that they would love the new nacho cheese and buffalo cheese flavors. How could they not when they merge their two favorite things--cheese and pretzels

We received
three boxes to try--one of each variety. I cooked up the whole
batch at once since there are six people in our house. Just to compare,
I placed half in the microwave and half in the oven. They turned out
tasty both ways, but the oven is definitely the preferable way to go if
you have the option. In the microwave they can get a little chewy if you leave them in too long and the cheese is more likely to leak out. The ones from the oven came
out 100% perfect. The new flavors have more of a kick then the original cheese variety and are a great way to spice things up.
The soft pretzels are a tasty treat for an late night
snack or even a quick and easy snack for the kids. They also make a great hors d’oeuvres for gatherings such as football games or kids sleep overs. My family loved
them, and we will definitely we picking up a few more boxes on our next
trip to the market.
